F1 メキシコGP決勝 角田エンジニア コメント

メキシコGPで８位走行中　他車と接触し１２位に終わった角田選手に関しての

レース後のチーフエンジニアのコメントです。

Obviously, it was more challenging for Yuki, starting towards the back of the grid, but he was making good progress. We had the Safety Car that came midway through the race. We took a bit of a gamble to stay out because we thought there would be a Red Flag, and it happened. Because of the Power Unit penalty, we had a surplus of new tyres, so he was in a perfect position to turn the day around, restarting on the hard compound. Unfortunately, he was a little eager in trying to pass Piastri. We were faster than them and would’ve gotten them by the end of the race, but Oscar and Yuki got together, and Yuki spun off.

100カメ 見た！

昨日の夜　NHK総合で放送されていた　”１００カメ”　見てみました！

凄く面白い番組でした。

 

twitter(X)などで　レース映像とともに　”１００カメ”の放送が告知

されたりしてたのですが、

”１００カメ”　＝　”１００日後のワニ”　のパロディー見たいなの？って

思ってたけど　全然違いました！

 

 

”１００カメ”とは　ある取材対象の周辺に１００台の固定カメラを設置し

その収録画像を編集し一つのドクメンタリーみたいにし

それをスタジオのオードリーの２人がコメントしていく　見たいな番組でした。

 

今回の”１００カメ”の対象はレースの裏側（SUPER-FORMULA)で

レースウイーク（金曜～日曜）を通した　ピットやスタッフルーム　

マシンなど１００台のカメラからの映像でした。

 

 

レースチームにかかわる人々の　それぞれの人の役割や個性（キャラ）が

よくにじみ出ていて　人間ドラマみたいで　面白かったです。

 

１０月２８日　１８時０５分（NHK総合）でも再放送するみたいなので

見逃した方は　要チェックです！

焚火の季節

先週の採れ高。

 

サツマイモ　少し試し堀してきました。

なぜか丸型がおおいので　焼き芋には不適な感じ・・

 

写真は撮ってないけど　落花生も収穫してきました

夏野菜の枯れ枝や　麦ワラで焚火！

 

まだ大量にトマト・ナスの枯れ枝があるので

次回　ここ来たときは、焼き芋する予定です。

 

麦ワラも大量にあるので

生カツオ燻して土佐づくり　にしようかな。

“I’m very happy with P2, the pace in the car has been great and I put in a good lap to get on the front row on Sunday. There was maybe a little more in it, but I’m sure Charles [Leclerc] will be thinking that too, so overall I'm pleased with qualifying. We’ve got another chance to score a good result and important points tomorrow, so we’ll turn our focus to that now and aim to go one better in the Sprint.”

“Today was tough and felt hotter than Singapore, so it was definitely a challenging race. My start was good and smooth, I made up places and was in the points. It felt ok inside the car and the balance was also good, but we were just too slow and couldn’t keep up the pace. It’s not easy to find a quick solution, but I’m confident that together with the team, we’ll look through the data and see how we can improve for the future. I think Liam might not be driving for us in Austin, so I want to say thank you to him because he did a very good job. I enjoyed the time together as good friends and teammates.”

It was a tough race for me, a bad start made everything much trickier, but we fought back well. Some fun racing, good overtakes, all the way to the last lap on George. It was tough but another podium for our team is great.

"I am very happy with qualifying in fourth position for Sunday's race, after a few weekends where we weren't as competitive. It was very tricky to manage with the slippery track and windy conditions. The car felt fast in FP1 and it felt good again later in Qualifying. It's only the first step and we have the Sprint tomorrow, so let's see what we can do as there are points available on both days."
