先週の採れ高
ライ麦が収穫期を迎えました。
麦は、種ばら～と蒔いたら 後は勝手に育つから簡単。
収穫の後の茎の部分は、スイカ栽培の場所に敷いて再利用します。
その後、麦ワラは、焚火の燃料となり その灰は肥料となるので
かなりサステナブル！

I have harvested potatoes and wheat in my small field.
This year's spring was warm, so we I am able to harvest
about three weeks earlier than usual.
ジャガイモも一部 収穫しました。
例年は7月の上旬に収穫するので だいぶん早い時期に実りました
ジャガイモ採れたので 食料危機来ても
暫く生きていける・・・

I lost the position to Lewis [Hamilton] at the start, but we had some good pace and after a close battle we retook second. It was then like a qualifying session as Lewis was pushing at the end and we had to keep him there and not make any mistakes. We hope to put more pressure on Max [Verstappen] in Austria.”

"A tough day with tricky conditions, it was a shame we didn’t finish slightly higher up. We didn't get the chance to complete my second lap, which would have pushed us up the grid. Q1, Q2, everything was very good, I was very happy. We did a good job to react to the conditions and fit the Soft tyre. Q3 ended up being just one lap and that was it. I think after two or three laps, I could have been P2 or P3 but with one lap, we weren’t quite able to do the same as the others.”

It looks like it will be raining tomorrow so we will be focusing on wet conditions for one-lap runs, with multiple tyre sets left to use. We did some long runs in the dry, and the pace doesn’t seem bad, but first, let’s see how tomorrow goes. I hope we can achieve Q2 or Q3 tomorrow.”

一個前の投稿に猿島のこと書いたけど
猿島行きのフェリー待ってる時間に
フェリーターミナル横に展示されてる
戦艦三笠を見てきました。
These photos are of the actual battleship Mikasa on display at Mikasa Park
in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture JPN.
The battleship Mikasa was completed in 1902 and served
as the flagship of the Japanese Navy in the Battle of Tsushima.

「坂の上の雲」をDVDで全巻みてから
一度 横須賀に展示されてる三笠をみてみたかったので 念願成就。
「坂の上の雲」は10年くらい前にやっていたNHKのドラマで
日露戦争を背景とした愛媛出身の秋山兄弟や正岡子たちの群像物語です。
主演は、秋山真之を演ずる本木雅弘です。

猿島行ってみた。
この間、廃墟映えスポットらしいってことで
神奈川県横須賀沖の猿島に行ってみました。
猿島に行くのは、三笠公園のあたりから
船に乗るんだけど 小さい島なので
混まないうちに！ってことで 第一便の9；30に
乗ろうと思ってターミナルに行ってみたら
「潮の関係で本日は12：30から出航」とのっ表示・・
3時間もターミナルで待ちぼうけ・・
干潮満潮の差が激しい時期は 航行予定が遅延するのかな？？

3時間待って 船乗って猿島上陸
5分くらいで着いた（意外と あっけない）
↓ ↓
猿島には明治期に構築された要塞跡があり
その遺構が自然に埋もれつつ 非日常な景観を醸し出しています

I went to Sarushima Island off the coast of Yokosuka in Kanagawa Prefecture.
Sarushima has the remains of a fortress built in 1885 to defend Tokyo Bay.
思ったより ラピュタ感ありました。

当日は曇りで 写真の色味が・・・って思ったけど
曇りの方が 写真の色味が青がかって
いい雰囲気の写真になった気する。
秋になって 草木の色が変わる頃に
また行ってみようと思います。

"It was a tough race. Unfortunately, we couldn’t fight at the front as our pace is pretty much dictated by tyre management and degradation. I know Sundays have been frustrating so far this season, but we gave it our all on track this weekend and we will keep working on this new package and on developing our car.

“It’s been a positive weekend, but I am disappointed with the outcome of qualifying. I had two spins at the exit of Turn 11 so I wasted two sets of the soft compound and had no new tyres left for Q2. There was a wet patch that I did not see but clearly felt, so my confidence got the best of me in the end. It's a shame because we had good pace, so I hope we can carry that into the race tomorrow. It will be a long race and a lot of focus on tyre degradation, with rain possibly creating even more opportunities, so let’s see.”
