“I’m really disappointed with today, I made a mistake in FP1 and it meant that I’ve lost more than a session’s worth of running. The rear of the car felt very nervous, especially in high-speed corners, and I was losing a lot of time there compared to Pierre. I was trying to improve in those areas, but I lost control of the car and I went into the wall. Unfortunately, the gearbox was damaged, and the team had to work really hard to get my car ready for the afternoon. The mechanics did a really good job getting the car fixed before the end of the session, so I was able to get one push lap in during FP2. It was really helpful for both the engineers and I to get this, so we can review the data tonight.”

はじめての穀物！

前々から自家製野菜作ってるんだけど

来るべき氷河期の食料危機に備えて(笑）穀物作り　挑戦してみました！

コメはハードル高そうなので

麦にしました・・・

 

知識ゼロなので

とりあえず　アマゾンで麦の種買って　っと。

麦と言っても　いろいろ種類あって　解らないから

一番安いライ麦にしました・・・

んで　11月の上旬に　ばら～と適当に種まいて

ほぼ　何もせず　6月上旬に実りました！

なんどよ　麦って簡単に実るんだな！って思ったけど

ここからが地獄

脱穀の知識もなければ道具もない・・・

とりあえず　ハサミで穂先を1本1本積みました(泣

ここからが　さらにきの遠くなるような作業が・・

殻の除去の仕方解らないから試行錯誤しながら

ちょっとずづつ殻除去したよ・・

 

途中　面倒臭くなって辞めようかと思ったけど

「ここから逃げちゃダメだ！！」

と　妙な使命感を感じて　一晩かけて殻除去したよ・・・

結果　

ええーーこれだけしか採れねーの・・・・・って感じ。

松坂桃李のダイワハウスの自給自足のＣＭ思い出した・・・

食べ物の大事さが解ったかも！？

“I’m quite happy to have come away with a point today. I tried to stick to the plan, really focus on tyre management, and I think I achieved that well. I’ve struggled a bit throughout the weekend and the different format has made things slightly more difficult for me as a rookie, so I’m pleased to have come away with an all-important point for the team.”

シーズンを考えれば

マックスは一旦引くべきだった　と、思うが、

ドライバーとすれば　直接の一対一のバトルは

引けないのは　解る。

予選または決勝でガスリーに先着は、初めてかな？

難しい週末を　よくまとめたと思う。

鈴鹿で暴れまわって　今日のシルバーストーンの様に

“I’m obviously disappointed with today’s performance, I’m not finishing in a position that I’m happy with and I’m then starting the race tomorrow from the same place. I feel that this weekend’s format is quite difficult for rookies, as you only have one free practice session before qualifying, which is tough, but I hope the spectators enjoyed this new schedule. We’ve struggled with the performance of the car this whole weekend, so we just need to go away tonight and review the data so we can learn more for tomorrow’s race.”

“After FP1 I’d started to get used to the circuit, but I had a lot of traffic and never managed to put together a perfect lap. So, going into Qualifying after just one session was always going to be difficult. It’s a shame to be out in Q1 today, but the field was really tight at the end and I struggled again with traffic on my final push lap. Starting tomorrow from P16 I think will be difficult, but I’ll give it everything I’ve got during Sprint Qualifying and we’ll see what I can do.”

“It was difficult to score points today and we knew this starting from so far back. We are happy with the point, although we know we deserved more this weekend, but it’s better than nothing. It was a tense and a good battle with George [Russell] on-track this afternoon and in the end, we had better tyres and managed to accomplish the overtake. On a positive, we saw some good improvements from the team this weekend and the car felt good across all three days here. I feel more confident now going into Silverstone for the next race with the car and the tyres and I’m enjoying being more competitive.”
