“From this morning in FP1, I felt good with the car and I was able to push, so today was positive. I felt a lot more comfortable than in France and I think we have a good direction. There was quite a lot happening in FP2 but we still managed to complete all the tests we wanted to. The conditions are really hot and it’s quite windy which makes things tricky, and I think the rising temperatures are the main thing we need to keep on top of looking ahead to Sunday. The kerbs are also proving quite expensive as they’re breaking a lot of the cars! We look quite good on the timesheet with third, but we’re still four tenths off Ferrari so we need to stay focused and try to find some more pace from our package for tomorrow. Looking at our long runs, they were a bit messy and not that clean, so we will look at that a bit more closely and decide what is the best strategy for Sunday.”

“The race was a bit lonely at times but it wasn’t boring as I had Charles in sight which was good motivation to keep trying to match his lap times. You have to keep pushing yourself even if there aren’t cars that you are directly fighting.  I always want to see how fast we can go and push as much as possible. In the second stint, we were looking quite good but with six or seven laps to go I ran out of rear grip and I couldn’t really rely on the rear tyres anymore. I think it took a bit too much out of my tyres trying to keep up with Charles early in the race but I’m pleased to be in front of one Ferrari and finish fourth on a track that doesn’t really suit us. The target is always to win but it was not possible here today and I got the most out of the package. We have made a small step this weekend but we still need to work on all elements to fight for victories.”

フランスGP 予選4位だった　マックス・フェルスタッペンのコメントです。

 

“We had a good qualifying compared to practice,” he said. “We somehow couldn’t really find the right balance, and then qualifying was a lot better. Then in Q3, I think we could have been closer to Ferrari but we still maximised that P4 and it’s a good starting position compared to where I was in Canada. We’ll try to fight the Ferraris in the race.

“We need a bit of luck [for a podium], like we also had here last year [after Valtteri Bottas and Sebastian Vettel collided at Turn 1 to open up the field]. I think this is just not our track, with all the long straights. In the high speed, as they are so long, the tyres don’t really hold on, you can’t make a big difference. It’ll be all about tyre management and a bit of luck to try and get the podium.”

レッドブルＦ１チームに在籍しているピエール　ガスリーが　2年前の日本のレースに

参戦していたことを振り返った　コメントです。

 

“It was tough that I had to wait,” says Gasly, who finished runner up in the championship. “But I took Super Formula not as a step back but as another challenge. And when I look back, the story with Honda is really amazing. When I went to Japan, I had no idea what was going to happen, but after the first connection with Honda, we started to build a relationship. To get the trust, it takes a bit of time. But it has worked out.

“I went over frequently for trips of between 10 days and two weeks to work with the team and to see how they operate. I also spent some time in Tokyo to see how life was, and I really liked it. I understood the way the team worked and what they wanted from the driver in terms of the relationship.

“I was speaking in English and I had only one guy who spoke English in my team, so everything I said had to go through him. If he didn’t understand what I meant, the information would be wrong and this happened a couple of times,” he continues. “So I found out it would be easier to write everything down and I was happy to repeat things. I was involved on the technical side as well, so they could understand what I needed. It was a great experience, I learned a lot technically, as I was much more involved compared to Europe where you are more just focusing on driving and giving feedback, and not so much on the technical side.”

I painted the door of my tiny house with  brown last time, but I felt that it didn't match the tinyhouse, so I painted it with green in this time.

 

前回　余ったペンキで　ドアを薄茶色に塗ったんだけど

小屋にマッチしない感じだったので　塗り替えました！
