◎Kundalini is... for Nirvana to manifest Maya...
From the Tibetan Book of the Dead:
"However, all those who in their lifetime have received practical instruction from a guide will, when this guidance is applied, be led to the Primordial Clear Light. And without passing through any intermediate state, they will attain the Dharma-kaya through the Supreme Vertical Path." (The Tibetan Book of the Dead, translated by Masanori Oe, Kodansha, pp. 24-25)

Inspired by this, Dantes Daigee suggests that the Supreme Vertical Path spoken of by Padmasambhava is the vertical path just before one's transformed individual self (Mental Body → Causal Body → Atman) merges into the Central Sun (Brahman).
The Supreme Vertical Path is the home straight just before one's final individuality disappears.
"Furthermore, when ascending the Supreme Vertical Path to Nirvana, one will perceive that pure consciousness and the energy code emitted from 'God' are identical." (From Dantes Daigee's "The Process and Techniques of Nirvana," p. 109)
After merging with the Central Sun, it is said:
"Kundalini is a straight, shining energy for Nirvana to manifest Maya." (Ibid., p. 72)

In other words, the Kundalini energy cord, which has been traditionally called "Tama no O" (jewel string) in Japan, is not merely a spiritual thread connecting the astral soul and the physical body. In the final stages of one's individual ascent through the seven dimensions, it becomes one's ultimate individuality.
When this final individuality merges into the Central Sun, one becomes the omniscient and omnipotent God/Buddha, resulting in a complete reversal and inversion. This is the ultimate salvation.
In Taoism, could the "Subtle Path" (妙道) mentioned by Liu Huayang be the path towards this absolute light, that is, the Supreme Vertical Path? In the sixth diagram of the Hui Ming Jing (慧命經), the "Transformation Diagram" (化身図), it is stated that this Yang spirit passes through the Subtle Path and becomes void, suggesting a journey towards the Central Sun not through the "Supreme Vertical Path" but through the "Subtle Path."
"Emerging from existence and entering non-existence" literally means moving from Atman to Nirvana.
Furthermore, in terms of salvation from suffering and despair, there is Noah's Ark in the Old Testament and the Boat of Eye-Without-Holes (目無堅間の舟) in the Kojiki. Those who boarded are invariably saved. I believe this Ark of Salvation was surprisingly the Kundalini energy cord.
In the Oomoto Shinshukyo's Reikai Monogatari (Spiritual World Tales, Vol. 5, Chapter 23, The Divine Cords of God), numerous long spiritual cords with hooks appear in times of peril, great tribulation, great floods, and the end of the world, pulling those who are to be saved up to the Floating Bridge of Heaven one after another.
These long spiritual cords (also known as the Divine Cords of God) are divided into golden, silver, and copper cords according to the level of the spirit soul.
These saving spiritual cords are the Kundalini energy cord.
Since salvation is likely finalized just before merging with the Central Sun, it probably isn't like a giant ark of salvation seen in movies where only the "chosen" people board and are saved.
According to the Reikai Monogatari, the existence of the saving spiritual cords will become known worldwide, but initially, most people will be skeptical and dismissive, and no one will seriously try to be saved. However, gradually, a small number of people will actually be saved, and their numbers will increase. In other words, one must actively rely on the saving spiritual cord (through meditation and practice) to be saved; humans do not save, but God saves.
The Kundalini energy cord initially appears white and changes to silver and then gold as it ascends. Deguchi Onisaburo must have witnessed this progression.
While the term "Supreme Vertical Path" sounds formidable, the ultimate salvation for everyone is their own spiritual cord, the "Tama no O."
