◎Freemasonry, Alchemy, Christianity
The achievements of Jesus' appearance are not limited to Christianity.
I have the following impressions of Freemasonry, alchemy, and Christianity.
From before the Common Era, Gnosticism, Judaism, and alchemy existed in the Middle East and westward. These are seen as religions derived from so-called Atlantean esoteric teachings, and they often underwent changes in direction due to the climate and the appearance of saints.
Regarding Atlantean esoteric teachings, it can be inferred that the essence of Atlantean esoteric teachings remained in the Library of Alexandria at that time, as Plato heard about Atlantis from a priest named Solon.
Around the 5th century BCE, Socrates achieved a "shikantaza" (just sitting) type of enlightenment, and Plato achieved a Kundalini Yoga type of enlightenment, as can be seen from Plato's writings. Although many people think of them as philosophers because scholars call them philosophers, they were ancient Greek meditation practitioners. In other words, they each inherited exoteric and esoteric enlightenment.
Jesus Christ emerged from Judaism, but as a candidate for enlightenment, he attracted attention beyond sectarian boundaries, and at his birth, even three wise men (magi) gathered in a stable.
Dantes Daigi saw Jesus as emerging from the Essene sect of Judaism, and it is evident that Jesus, who used supernatural powers extensively, worked as a successor of Kundalini Yoga-related Judaism during his lifetime.
However, at that time, Gnosticism also saw true enlightenment (Nirvana) in the form of eight spheres, and alchemy was probably within Judaism, integrated with it.
Zosimos and Maria Prophetissa, the first alchemists, appeared in the 3rd century. Maria Prophetissa was Jewish, so it is natural to think that she came from Judaism. Psychologist Jung saw Zosimos's documents as related to meditation methods, and Maria Prophetissa's fragmentary saying, "One becomes two, two becomes three, and from the third comes the fourth, the all-one," is probably also related to meditation.
Maria Prophetissa is said to have invented physical alchemy tools, but since physical alchemy (external alchemy) was already practiced in China during the Han Dynasty, alchemy cannot be considered original to the Middle East.
Perhaps the esoteric (Kundalini Yoga) aspects of Gnosticism and Judaism mixed to form alchemy.
While Christianity was recognized in the Roman Empire in the 4th century, the esoteric parts of Judaism and Gnosticism gradually declined and spent a long gestation period until the 15th century, being incorporated into Islam. After the 15th century, as Jews dispersed throughout Europe, a movement inspired by their esoteric aspects was the Rosicrucian movement in the 17th century. It became the flow of Freemasonry, but for some reason, it uses symbolism different from Judaism.
Of course, within Europe, as seen in Huizinga's "The Autumn of the Middle Ages," we cannot ignore the fact that esoteric things were cultivated behind the stable faith of Christianity, with occasional releases.
The rose is a symbol of truth, and the stone is also a symbol of truth. Freemasonry's use of the rose symbol indicates that it is a legitimate religion that advocates Nirvana, the truth.
Freemasonry is said to derive from Christian mysticism, Western alchemy, and Neoplatonism. However, around the 17th century, a saint from Germany or somewhere (the Rosicrucian Order) probably reorganized these esoteric elements and started Freemasonry, aiming for the realization of the millennial bliss of the 21st century.
On the other hand, exoteric Christianity continues to strive as before, focusing on visualization or "shikantaza" (just sitting) meditation methods.
Onisaburo Deguchi basically did not criticize Judaism, only criticizing it during the Showa Shinseikai era and on the eve of the Second Omoto Incident. Dantes Daigi also sees that there are properly enlightened people on the Freemasonry side.
However, as historian Toynbee argues, the core of civilization is religion, and if religion declines, that civilization will perish. Modern Western civilization is a religious civilization with Christianity as its backbone, and if Christianity declines and perishes, modern Western civilization will end.
Also, the schemes of Freemasonry are probably becoming more and more exposed, especially recently. These schemes are often discussed under the umbrella term of conspiracy theories.
Overall, Freemasonry would not have existed without the appearance of Jesus.
It is worth noting that OSHO Bhagwan sees the Rosicrucian Order as Jesus's esoteric group. An esoteric group is a team of highly devoted disciples who maintain the saints for many generations, and the Nine Unknown Men of King Ashoka is another known example.
World War II is generally seen as a war between the Allied Powers of the United States and Britain against the Axis Powers of Japan, Germany, and Italy, but some spiritualists see it as a contest between Christian forces (Freemasonry) and Buddhist forces.
