have lived in Japan in the past, I have this impression that dragonflies are symbol of autumn.
however, it's August here in Okinawa, and i see dragonflies everywhere?
i asked the local high school student, she freaked out when i showed her the dead dragonfly
and she said that she hates seeing dragonflies
she also told me that when u see dragon flies, it is predicting that the typhoon is near
i am not sure if that's just a myth or not, but
it must be the season, could it be the mating season?
i am not sure, but it's dragon flies everywhere
and the amount of these dragon flies is enormous
they are all over the island now
or is it only around the central part of the island
i am not sure
but i have never seen so many dragon flies all at once
but it's beautiful
it's blue in color
but poor thing
one day they were all in synch flying very low
and they were hit by the car
or they were squashed by the tires
and so many dead dragon flies on the road
