Thank you for your email. Free, fair, and reciprocal trade has played a huge role in restoring our Nation’s economy. That is why I am proud to proclaim May 20-26, 2018, as World Trade Week.
America has turned the page on decades of unfair trade deals that hindered our prosperity and shipped away our companies, our jobs, and our Nation’s wealth. My trade agenda aims to accelerate American exports through policies that are focused on rebuilding our industries, strengthening our national security, and equipping our workforce with state-of-the-art skills.
I am continuing to renegotiate and revise our Nation’s trade deals to benefit American workers and employers. My Administration will continue to take concrete action to restore America's capacity to compete in an increasingly international market.
