先月１６日から１４日までの平均気温は、新潟市で５度１分、名古屋市で７度７分、広島市で７度８分、高松市で８度４分、東京の都心で８度６分、大阪市で９度ちょうど、福岡市で９度４分などと、各地で平年を１度から３度近く下回っています。
この先も強い寒気が流れ込むため今後１週間程度、気温の低い状態が続く見込みです。
また、北日本や北陸などを中心に雪の量も多くなっていて、多いところで平年の２倍から５倍前後の積雪を観測しています。
気象庁は、「長期間の低温に関する全般気象情報」を出して、体調や農作物の管理のほか、山沿いを中心に積雪や路面の凍結にも十分注意するよう呼びかけています。
