成田空港 航空機からの落下物対策で調査徹底の研修会

航空機からの落下物が後を絶たないことを受けて、ことし３月から機体の調査が独自に導入された成田空港で２０日、調査を徹底するための研修会が開かれました。
航空機からの落下物を防ぐため、国土交通省と成田空港会社は、ことし３月から、到着した便を対象に機体のパネルや部品などが壊れたり剥がれたりしていないかを調べる独自の調査を行っています。
２０日の研修会は、この調査の徹底を図ろうと国土交通省が開き、担当する国の成田空港事務所や成田空港会社の関係者合わせて９人が、日本航空の格納庫に集まりました。
担当者らは、機体の構造や整備に詳しい国の航空機検査官から、翼の周囲についているゴムや静電気を逃がすための部品など、脱落しやすい場所を教わりながら、調査のポイントを確認していました。
この調査をめぐっては、海外の航空会社などへの周知が不十分だったことや、調査チームの数が不足していたことから、実際に調査できた機体の数は計画の１割ほどにとどまり、国は態勢の改善を進めることにしています。
国土交通省首都圏空港課の小川聡志専門官は「研修を通じて調査のレベル向上や効率化を図り、落下物対策を徹底したい」と話していました。
