I stopped by my favorite thrift store before my art viewing.

I bought three shirts that I liked. I am looking forward to coming tomorrow.

僕はアート鑑賞の前に、行きつけの古着屋さんに立ち寄りました。

気に入ったシャツを3枚買いました。僕は明日から来ていこう、と楽しみにしています。

Today's lunch was pasta and fried rice cooked by my son.

昨日、わが東洋大学校友会神奈川県支部は、コロナ対策を万全に、2022年度総会を挙行した。

総勢21名が参加し、とどこおりなくすべての議案が満場一致で承認された。

東洋大学校友会神奈川県支部は前途洋々である、と私は確信した。

Yesterday, the Kanagawa Branch of the Toyo University Alumni Association held its 2022 General Meeting, fully prepared for Corona.

A total of 21 people attended the meeting, and all proposals were unanimously approved.

I am convinced that the Toyo University Alumni Association Kanagawa Branch has a bright future ahead of it.

いろいろと、抜けていることが多い昨今、私は9月半ばまでの繁忙期を迎え、気を引き締めなくてはいけない。

雑事徹底に心がけ、点検と確認を怠ってはならない。そうしなければ、周囲の人たちに迷惑をかけてしまう。笑ってごまかせるほど甘くないし、お詫びすれば済む話ではないと、自戒しているところです。

In these days of many, many things being left out, I have to be on top of my game as we enter the busy season, which runs until mid-September.

I must be thorough in my chores and not neglect checking and confirming. If I don't, I will cause trouble for those around me. I am reminding myself that I am not so naive as to be able to laugh and cheat, and that an apology is not enough.

格安たばことして親しまれ、一時は国内での売上で、上位にランクインしていました。

それが、「JTは、〈わかば〉〈エコー〉〈ゴールデンバット〉の3銘柄を2019年10月以降、JTの在庫売り尽くしをもって販売を終了し、廃止する。9月末の旧3級品特別たばこ税率撤廃により、大幅に値上げせざるを得ないためとしている」となりました。

そして、シガーの〈エコー〉は500円です。〈メビウスone・Eシリーズ〉と同じ値段になりました。

It was popularly known as a budget cigarette, and at one time ranked among the top brands in sales in the country.

This has changed: "JT will discontinue sales of three brands, Wakaba, Echo and Golden Butt, from October 2019 onwards, when JT's stock is sold out and discontinued, as the removal of the old third-grade special tobacco tax rate at the end of September will force a significant price increase".

And the cigar <Echo> is priced at 500 yen. The price is now the same as the price of the MEVIUS One E series.

I was doing a standing paddleboarding class on the Ooka River. It is a cool scenery.

Green persimmon fruits are growing on a persimmon tree by the river.

The large plum tree in Fujimigawa Park was also bearing plum blossoms.

亡き義父は、1日1杯の焼酎と1箱のエコーを楽しみにしていました。

命日にあたり、私はそれらを買って、義父の写真の前に供えました。

My late father-in-law enjoyed a glass of shochu and a box of echos a day.

On the anniversary of his death, I bought them and placed them in front of his picture.

本日は、私の母の31回目の命日です。【合掌】

母の写真の写真の前に、私たちは花と和菓子を供えました。

コロナ禍が落ち着いたら、私は久しぶりに墓参りをしようと思っています。

私は、きゅうり🥒とにんじん🥕の浅漬けを作りました。これから、母の好物だったとうもろこし🌽を茹でて、缶ビールで献杯しようと思います。

Today is the 31st anniversary of my mother's death. [Gassho].

In front of the photograph of my mother's picture we offered flowers and Japanese sweets.

Once the Corona disaster has calmed down, I plan to visit her grave for the first time in a long time.

I made pickled cucumber🥒 and carrot🥕. I am going to boil corn🌽, which was my mother's favourite food, and drink a can of beer.

先日、私のランチは、「ほっともっと」の「カツ煮」と手作りピクルス（間引きニンジン・大根、きゅうり、生姜、普通のニンジン）でした。

名刺作成の納期が迫っていたので、お酒は飲みませんでした。午後は名刺作成に時間を費やし、どうにか18人分（各20枚）を印刷できました。

The otherday, my lunch was "katsu-ni" (cutlet stew) and homemade pickles (thinned carrots/daikon, cucumber, ginger, and regular carrots) from "Hotto Motto".

I did not drink alcohol because I had a deadline to make business cards. I spent the afternoon making business cards and somehow managed to print 18 (20 each).

Today, I had a little drink at "A While（kutsurogi）" on the first floor of Rengo Kaikan, drinking Sapporo bottled beer and enjoying a delicious meal of pork stew, seasonal bamboo shoots, sea eel sushi, tekkamaki, and fava beans.

There, to my surprise, was a familiar face, former Japan National Railways Labor Union President Muto, who, even at 94 years old, was still spitting out flames of good cheer.

Before that, I listened to a two-hour lecture by Mr. Hosaka, the mayor of Setagaya Ward, which was very moving.

He was an organizer of the Kojimachi Junior High School Zenkyoto.

The fighter from the age of 14 or 15 has been leading Japan in the fight against corona, although he has become completely calm.

He is still going strong, 67 years old, and still going strong. 

I have completely become a big fan of Setagaya Ward Mayor Hosaka.

本日、私のちょい飲みは連合会館1階「暫（しばらく）」で、サッポロ瓶ビールを飲みながら、豚の角煮、旬の筍、アナゴ寿司、鉄火巻き、そら豆などを美味しくいただきました。

その場には、なんと見覚えのある武藤元国労委員長が、94歳でも元気に気炎を吐いておられました。

その前に、保坂世田谷区長さんの講演を2時間お聴きし、すごく感動しました。彼は、麹町中学校全共闘の組織者だったのですね。

14〜15歳からの闘士は、すっかり穏やかになりつつも、コロナ対策では日本の先頭を走り、今でも元気な67歳、まだまだいけそう。私はすっかりファンになりました。
