詠み終えた「大泉エッセイ」(大泉洋著／メディアファクトリー社版)の抜き書きをしてみました。その中で、タバコが出てくるのは次の1か所でした。

飛行機の中でもよく書いた。昔から「水曜どうでしょう」の旅や「パパパパPUFFY」などの収録で東京に行く時など、飛行機の機会は多かったのだ。
全然関係ない話だが、まだ当時は飛行機でタバコが吸える時代だ。後部の座席では吸えたのだ。今から考えたらありえないことのように思えるが、 16年前は吸えていた。これから読んでいただくのはそんな時代の原稿からである。

I used to write on airplanes. Since long ago, there have been many opportunities to fly, such as when traveling to Tokyo for the recording of "Papa Papa PUFFY" and "Wednesday How about".
It's completely irrelevant, but back then you could still smoke 🚬 on airplanes. I could smoke in the back seat. Thinking about it now, it seems impossible, but 16 years ago, I was able to smoke. What you will read from now on is from the manuscript of that period.
