1月27日放送のNHK「ファミリーヒストリー／米米クラブ・石井竜也」の続きです。実はこの番組、久しぶりに涙を流しながら見させていただきました。
石井竜也さんの祖父靏次さんは、風船爆弾基地の兵隊さんが放ったB29への銃撃により、それに気づいた米軍の想定外の爆撃ショックによる脳出血で倒れ、3日後に他界しました。
父の昭雄さんは、大好きなスケッチをするため、大津町五浦にあった日本美術院、今の六角堂に通いました。東京に出て演劇に目覚め、大学を中退し俳優修行をして、東映「ニューフェイス」で宝田明さんと競い、背丈の高さで負けたというイケメンだったのことです。
それを知った祖父が父を呼び寄せ、和菓子店の跡継ぎを厳命したそうです。嫁をもらえば落ち着くだろうと、福島県いわき市の鈴木家の光子さんと見合いさせたら、光子さんは一目惚れし2人の子をもうけました。
そんなこともあり、父は子どもたちには老舗和菓子店を継がせず、好きなことをしなさい、と兄妹を東京に送り出しました。お絵描き大好きの竜也さんは、美術専門学校に入り、そこの仲間に妹さんを誘い、米米クラブがスタートしたそうです。
たばこの似合う祖父がそれを喜び、「いい名前だ。米は世界を制するんだから、きっとうまくいく」と嬉しそうに語っていました。（つづく）

Actually, I watched this program with tears for the first time in a long time.
Mr. Tatsuya Ishii's grandfather, Mr. Yasuji, collapsed due to a cerebral hemorrhage caused by an unexpected bombing shock of the US military who noticed it by shooting at B29 shot by a soldier at a balloon bomb base, and died three days later.
His father, Akio, went to the current Rokkakudo, a Japanese art school in Itsuura, Otsu-cho, to make his favorite sketches.
He went to Tokyo, woke up to theater, dropped out of college, trained as an actor, competed with Akira Takarada at Toei "New Face", and lost because of his height.
It seems that his grandfather who knew it called his father and ordered the successor of the Japanese sweets shop.
He thought it would be calm if he got his daughter-in-law, and when he met Mitsuko of the Suzuki family in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, Mitsuko fell in love at first sight and had two children.
For that reason, her father sent his brother and sister to Tokyo to do what he liked, instead of letting the children take over the long-established Japanese sweets shop.
Mr. Tatsuya, who loves drawing, entered an art school, invited his sister to a friend there, and the Kome Kome Club started.
His grandfather, who looks good on cigarettes, rejoiced and said, "It's a good name.
