言の葉ひらひら - Wordy Leaves Dancing

Thanks! One Year Anniversary for “A Tree of Words”

2006-08-08 | leaves on TODAY
That's right, it's been exactly ONE YEAR since
“A Tree of Words”had been planted! (Check it out!)
I hope you'll continue to enjoy visiting this tree, this blog.
(Despite the poor production of English leaves...)

Well, many things happened to me during this past year.
Meanwhile, I kept on putting on many leaves here.
At first, I intended to put leaves only concerning
Teaching English as a Second Language,
Christian life, and poetry, but
the tree grew and it branched out.
I’m fine with it for it happened quite naturally.
Occasional pruning is needed though,
so that it won’t become a tree too noisy.

As I look back, I see there are some “too self-conscious” leaves
or “not-getting-it” leaves, making the tree a little too noisy....
But this tree has blessed me beyond my flaws.
Every time I encountered words, inspirations, experiences, and ideas
I wanted to share here with you,
something was absorbed into the roots,
then it eventually took a shape as a leaf
with definite outline and veins.
After all, I’d get responses through comments and viewing numbers.
I’ve enjoyed every process of it, thanks to “A Tree of Words.”
But the greatest thanks goes to God and you all
who’ve helped it grow!!

So you are welcomed here.
Feel free to look at those leaves, soak up sunshine under the tree,
add your leaves, and be blown in the wind here.
This tree will be ever growing for God, for you, and for myself.
(It sounds familiar, eh?)
