Today I enjoyed kaki-mogi, picking kaki
from a tree, at my friend's yard.

How exciting it was!
I felt as if I were a little girl.

When I was a little girl, I would often play
in my grandma's yard, where there was a big
tree of kaki.

I remember how I picked those orange fruit
from the tree. Oh, what a good old memory!
What an innocent girl I was!

Time really flies.

Tomorrow I'm going to my hometown Tochio
in Nagaoka City to observe 30th anniversary
of my father's death.

I'll be back the day after tomorrow.

This long weekend has started with a light rain.
I know it will be fine in the afternoon.

In the morning I enjoyed a mandolin concert.

I've just come back to my apartment to have lunch.

In the afternoon I am going to attend the lecture
about the future of Japan.

I hope it will not be very difficult.

The lecturer is Masanori Nakamura, professor emeritus
at Hitotsubashi University.

The weather forecast has proved to be wrong.
It was expected to be a cloudy day.

I was surprised to see the blue sky
flecked with white clouds.

I've just been to Harmonica Circle
at a community center.

We are having a festival at the community
center at the weekend.

We are going to play 4 songs on the harmonica.
I hope everything will go all right.
