from Roma to Firenze (from Rome to Florence)

Early on the fourth morning, we left Roma for Firenze. It was another long way to drive--275 kilometers.

I felt very cold. There was some frost that morning. I saw a romantic sunrise. I saw trees folded in mist from my bus window.

On the way back to Rome from Napoli,
I saw a beautiful sunset from my bus window.
It was a long distance of 230 kilometers.

Napoli (Naples)

You know the famous proverb, "See Naples and die."
Yes, at last, I saw Naples.

ancient city of Pompeii

After sightseeing in Rome, we went to Naples, touring by bus. We took some pictures at Santa Lucia (Saint Lucy).

We went to Pompeii, too. I was excited to see the ruins. My heart ached when I thought of the fact that all people in the ancient city of Pompeii had vanished because of the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius.

Taking pictures without flashlight was allowed, though not in the rooms.
