Then I walked on to 日本庭園, こもれびの里,
こもれびの丘 and 渓流広場.

I was glad to see tulips at 渓流広場.







I came back to みんなの原っぱ.
I was surprised to find poppies were in bloom.

Isn't it too early?



I enjoyed walking in Showa Kinen Park
on this lovely day.

I walked 19198 steps today.

A number of people were enjoying picnic lunch
under the cherry trees.

Showa Kinen Park in spring 2016 (1)

What a lovely day!

I decided at once to go to Showa Kinen Park
to enjoy spring flowers.

I left my apartment at 9:00 and took a bus
to Kokubunji Station.

I bought there onigiri for lunch.

Then I took a train for Takao and got off at Tachikawa Station,
from which I walked to Showa Kinen Park.

I arrived at the park around 10:00 a.m.

I came to Showa Kinen Park
after an interval of 11 months!

Ginkgo trees are coming into bud.

First all visitors walk to 水鳥の池.
