my hometown

This is the picture of my hometown taken by me, when I went home in July last year. Heavy rains caused floods in the middle area of Niigata then.

In my hometown landslides here and there blocked traffic. The landslides in this picture carried away some houses and possessions.

One of them was a kindergarten. It was lucky that there were no children when it was swept away.

I hope it will stop raining in Niigata tomorrow.
