On Sunday morning, October 25, I woke up early and opened the fusuma (Japanese sliding wooden door) of the waist height under the wide window, then I was watching the river as I lay in the futon.

I was admiring the considerate design of the Hirai-Tei (平井亭) Inn and looking at the river as it was intended.

It was a luxurious moment.

And we started to have breakfast at 8:00 am, but we took the time to eat slowly while looking at the river, and it got to be at 9:30 am before we knew it. Then we left the inn.

It took us about 20 minutes by car from Hirai-Tei to the Tomb of King Kadono (葛野王).

It was the location of the Takatsuka Shrine (Takatsuka Shrine) on the summit of the mountain, deep west of Katsurao (葛尾).

From the entrance, where was the tea plantation, we could see Mt. Kōno-yama (神野山) , the tomb of Amaterasu, in the distance.

Great! Mr. Takebe. He found the directional stones for the north, south, east, and west in the earthen floor of the temple grounds

It is worthy of the tomb of King Kadono, who was descended from the Emperors Tenji, Kōbun, and Temmu, which has a magnificent stone chamber under the ground.

There is a small shrine in front of the top of the stairs, but the place where he is resting is just under the left of the top of the stairs.

There are three cherry trees, the stone chamber places in front of them.    It's a great big stone chamber, indeed!
