方便品第二（その３２）

舎利弗よ、間違いなく知りなさい
Shariputra, you should know
鈍い根性を持つ小智慧の人
People with dull faculties and little wisdom
形に執着し、慢心する者
Those attached to forms and arrogant
この法を信じることができない
Unable to believe this Dharma
私は今、喜び、畏れがない
Now I am joyful and fearless
諸菩薩の中において
Among the many Bodhisattvas
率直に方便を捨てる
Directly abandoning expedients
ただ無上の道を説く
Only preaching the supreme path
菩薩はこの法を聞く
The Bodhisattvas hear this Dharma
疑いの網がすべてすでに取り除かれる
The net of doubts is already removed
千二百の阿羅漢（保証された地位のある僧侶）
1,200 Arhats
すべてまた正しく仏となる決意する
All will surely become Buddhas
三世の諸仏のように
Like the Buddhas of the three times
法を説く儀式
The ritual of preaching the Dharma
私も今またこのように
I too am now like this
無分別の法を説く
Preaching the non-discriminating Dharma


諸仏が世に出現する
The Buddhas arise in the world
出会うことが極めて難しい
Meeting them is extremely difficult
たとえ世に出現したとしても
Even if they appear in the world
この法を説くこともまた難しい
Preaching this Dharma is also difficult
計り知れない長い時間
Countless eons
この法を聞くこともまた難しい
Hearing this Dharma is also difficult
この法を聴くことができる者
Those who can hear this Dharma
この人もまた極めて難しい
This person is also extremely rare
たとえば優曇華（三千年に一度咲く美しく花）のように
Like the Udumbara flower
すべての人が愛し楽しむ
All love and enjoy it
天神、人間が希少と思うところにして
Rare among heavenly beings and humans
時々まさに一度出現する
Appears only occasionally
法を聞き、喜んで讃える
Hearing the Dharma, rejoicing and praising
ただ一言でも発する
Even speaking just one word
すでに供養したことになる
It is already considered an offering
三世のすべての仏
All Buddhas of the three times
この人は極めて希少である
This person is extremely rare
優曇華よりも希少である
Rarer than the Udumbara flower
