さて、ここ数日ずっと我が家のイースターの事を書いてきましたが、今日はおまけ的な記事です。
So, I've been writing about our family's Easter in the last couple of days here. Today, I want to share one more thing with you here.
イースターの日にパパママと一緒に、レイモンド家のクリスとJTが経営するレストランでブランチを楽しんだというお話をしました。
I talked that we enjoyed a nice brunch with Dad&Mom at the restaurant owned by Chris&JT from our second family, the Raymonds on Easter.
その時にレイモンド家のママ、モウリーンにも会ったんですが、
When we saw Maureen, Mom of the Raymonds, at the restaurant, she said to me,
「今日、皆が来るって聞いたから、めいにイースターバスケットを作ってきたのよ～！」
"I heard you guys were coming today, so I made an Easter basket for May!!"
と、めいにイースターバスケットをプレゼントしてくれました。
How sweet of her! She kindly gave May-chan an Easter basket which was the very first Easter basket for her.
イースターバスケットって、名前の通り、イースターの日にもらえたりするカゴで、中にはお菓子とか可愛い小物とかが入ってたりします。
For my Japanese friends, Easter basket is a basket with some candies and cute things that you can get on Easter.
Hit-chanの初めてのイースターバスケットは数年前のイースターにAndyっちがくれました。
My first Easter basket was from Andy, and I got it some Easters ago.

で、めいがもらった初めてのイースターバスケットがこちら。
And this is May-chan's first basket.
実際に使えるプランターにくまのプーさんのキャラクター、イーヨーが入ってます。可愛い～！
It's a real planter, and the character from Winnie the poo, Eeyore was in it. So cute!!
このイーヨー、人参の形をしたチョコレートを首にかけています。
Eeyore wears an cute carrot shaped chocolate on his neck.
中にはこんな可愛い玉子の入れ物にお菓子が入っていたり。。。
In the planter, there's this pretty egg with some candies inside.
水に浸けると大きくなるタオルとか。。。
Also, this egg shaped towel which spreads in water.
これまたこんな可愛いイースター用のランチョンマット。
Look at these lovely Easter place mats.
そして、こちらはピーターラビットの絵本。
And this is a Peter Rabbit book.
素材がプラスティックなのかな？シャカシャカしていて、中身はこんな風に飛び出す仕掛けもあって、楽しい～！
I think that the material is plastic and makes crankly noise. The inside has some pop-outs too! How fun!
実はめい、最近になってお尻ふきの入ったプラスティックの包装が好きで、どうもプラスティックのシャカシャカとする音が気に入っているようです。
Actually, May-chan has been interested in a plastic package of baby wipes lately and seems to like the crinkly noise.
なので、このピーターラビットの絵本は、まだ内容の分からないめいにもピッタリ！
So, this book is perfect for her even if she can't understand the story yet.
本当、めいの為を想ってこんな可愛いイースターバスケットを作ってくれたモウリーンに感謝、感謝でございます。
Again, I just really appreciate Maureen for thinking about May-chan and making such a lovely Easter basket for her.
モウリーン、ありがとう！！！
