早いもので、先日我が家のめいが4ヶ月になりました。
Time flies again! Our loving May-chan turned 4months old!!
4ヶ月になってかなり首もしっかり座ってきて、たまにですが、うつ伏せから仰向けへの寝返りができるようになりました。
Her neck has been stronger, and she can sometimes make a turnover from tummy to back.
3ヶ月から4ヶ月の間にあった変化なんですが、ある日突然うんちの数が増えました。
The most surprising thing between 3months and 4months was that the frequency of her pooping suddenly increased a lot.
それまでは1日か2日に1回程度だったのが、いきなり1日5回以上、多い時には10回になりました。
Before that, she pooped once in 1-2 days, but after that, she pooped more than 5times, even 10times at the most.
熱もないし、うんちの状態も悪くないし、本人も平気な顔をしていたんですが、一応ネットでも調べてみたら、やっぱり急にうんちが増える事があるみたいです。
She didn't get fever or seem sick, and the stool didn't look abnormal either. Though, just in case, I googled about it and found that many babies go through the same thing too.
熱もなく、うんちの状態も大丈夫ならば心配する事はないらしいので、そのまま様子をみる事にしました。
May-chan didn't have fever at all, and the stool looked same as usual, so I decided to keep watching for a while.
その後しばらくは1日に何回もうんちしていたんですが、4ヶ月になったここ最近は1日に多くても3回くらいまでに減って落ち着いています。
After that, she pooped several times a day for a while, but the frequency has been decreased and it's about a couple of times a day lately.
で、先日4ヶ月検診を受けに行ってきました。
So, we had her 4month check-up the other day too.
この日も体重、身長、頭囲を測ってもらいました。
They measured her weight, height and head as always.
体重5,414g（8パーセンタイル）、身長59cm（7パーセンタイル）、頭囲38.5cm（5パーセンタイル）、BMI15.56（22パーセンタイル）でした。
Her weight was 11lb15oz(8th percentile), height 1ft11.23inches(7th percentile), head 15.16inches(5th percentile) and her BMI was 15.56(22nd percentile).
相変わらず同じ月例の赤ちゃんと比べてチビですが、少しずつでも大きくなってきているので大丈夫そうです。
She's still a small baby compared to other babies at the same age, but she's been growing up for sure even if it's little by little, so everything seems great.
で、この日も予防接種がありました。
Then, she had to have some shots again that day.
前回と同じく裸で待機なので、寒くないようにパパに抱っこしてもらってます。
Same as last time, she had to wait in naked for a little bit, so Daddy's holing her to keep her warm.
この先予防接種があるのも知らず、ご機嫌さんにしてくれていました。（この笑顔を見ていると心が痛い。。。）
She didn't know what's waiting for after this and was in such a good mood. (I felt so bad to see her smile...)
まずは前回と同じく飲むものから。ただ前回とは違い、この時点で泣いてしまいました。
The first one was taken in her mouth. She was fine last time, but she started crying at this point this time.
なので、今回はHit-chanもなだめようとヘルプ。
So, I tried to soothe her.
が、あんまり効果なく。（汗） そりゃ、痛いよねぇ。
But it didn't work. Dang. Yeah, I know it hurts!!
この後、前回と同じく授乳してなだめようとしたんですが、お腹が空いていなかったようで全く飲まず。
Right after that, we tried to feed her to get distracted just as last time, but she wasn't hungry enough and didn't take any milk.
ですが、家に帰る途中の車の中で眠ってくれて、かなり落ち着いてくれました。
Though, she fell asleep in the car seat on way home and seemed better when she woke up after that.
その後も少しいつもよりも愚図っていましたが、翌日にはいつも通りに戻りました。
Still, she was fussier than usual for a while in the evening but got back to normal on the next day.
お陰様で我が家の愛娘、めいは元気に成長してくれております。
Thankfully and luckily, our loving daughter, May-chan's been growing very well.
