こちらミネソタ、ここ最近の雨振りで我が家の地下室がまた浸水しました。
Here in MN, from the last some rainy days, our basement got flooded again.
今年は2回目なので、何だかもう慣れてしまって、冷静なまま休日返上で4時間掃除機で水を吸い出したり、床のカーペットやマットを剥がしたりしました。
This is the second time this year, so I kind of got used to dealing with it lately and I still stayed calm even when I had to take 4 hours of my off day to calmly vacuume the water and peeled carpet and mats off.
お蔭で翌日は全身筋肉痛です。(笑)
Thanks to the voluntarylabor, my body got sore the next day. Haha.
記録的な降水量なんですが、我が家にも問題ありなんで、来年までには工事の目途がついたら良いなぁとAndyっちと話しています。
Not only it was record precipitation besides, but also it's our house problem, so Andy and I have been talking to do some construction by the next summer.
さて、浸水被害をもたらすお天気は辛いものの、暖かい今しかできない夏らしい事もちゃんとして楽しんでいます。
Even though this summer weather is harsh to cause the basement flood, it also brings us a great time too.
先日は、キャット、トム、レイチェル、ブラッド君と一緒に我が家でBBQをしました。
We had Kat, Tom, Rachel and Brad over our house and did a grill party.

レイチェルお手製のサルサ、キャットお手製のグアカモレとチップス。（キャットのグアカモレは写ってませんけど。）
Rachel's handmade salsa, Kat's Guacamole and chips. (Sorry for no pic of Kat's guacamole.)
グリルマン、Andyっちはお得意のハンバーガーとポークテンダーロイングリルしてくれました。
Our grill man, Andy grilled hamburgers and pork tenderloin.

Hit-chan、基本的にパーティーのようなものは苦手なんですが、こうやって気が許せる仲間だけの飲み会は大好きなんですよ。
I'm basically not a party person, but I really love something like this just with people I can be myself to.
このBBQパーティーは本当に心から楽しかったです。
I truly had a wonderful time that day.
残念ながら、キャット、レイチェル、Hit-chanは翌日の朝早くからカリブーの仕事だったので早めに切り上げないとダメでしたが、ボーイズたちは結構遅くまで楽しんでたみたいです。
Unfortunately, we girls had to end the party because of work next day, but the boys must have had a great time until late that night.
という訳で、ミネソタの夏の一コマでした！
I want to plan this stuff more for the rest of summer for sure!
