TWICE has unveiled the MV teaser for "What is Love?", the title track of their 5th mini album.

JYP Entertainment released the MV teaser for "What is Love?" on the official SNS channels of JYP and TWICE at midnight on the 2nd.

In the video, TWICE members dressed in casual homewear fashion are seen gazing somewhere, raising curiosity. The light-tempo background music that creates anticipation and tension is added to this, raising expectations for the new song "What is Love?" and the full version MV.

TWICE's MV continues to break new records on YouTube, attracting fans in Korea and abroad with videos and choreography that capture the members' charms to match the atmosphere of each song. On the 8th of last month, the music video for "LIKEY" surpassed 200 million views on YouTube, about 130 days after its release, in the shortest time in the history of K-pop girl groups.

Before their comeback, TWICE has released various content such as the new album promotion timetable, track list, group and individual teaser images, and lyric images, giving fans a variety of highlights.

It is clear that BTS and TWICE are the main players in this K-pop boom. EXO is also one of the main players, but they have a stronger image of being the only winner during their recent slump.
K-pop has overcome its slump because BTS and TWICE have appeared and added a fresh wave to EXO's stock of popularity. They have demonstrated a variety of colors and charms that EXO could not show, and have dug up a new fan base.

BTS has been active in faraway places such as the United States, and TWICE has come to Japan and awakened the dormant K-pop fans. As a result, a wave of activity known as a boom was created.

The energetic activities of TWICE and BTS have produced results beyond expectations. That is why they have been constantly breaking records.

Due to the Pyeongchang Olympics, it seems that the major K-pop groups have been keeping their activities low for a while. However, now that the Olympics are over, the K-pop world has returned to its usual busy schedule.

In anticipation of the K-pop boom, Red Velvet, GFRIEND, and BLACKPINK are following in TWICE's footsteps and setting their sights on Japan as their main battlefield.

Whether TWICE can continue to lead the way will depend on the results of "What is Love?"...
