金を見て人を見ない人々の末路

私もそうでしたが

不動産屋で社員として働いていて独立する

こんな事は良くあります

情報でお金を貰う訳ですから

設備投資も大してかかりませんので起業しやすい業種

だからだと思います。

起業するとそれまで付き合いのあった同業者に名刺を持って挨拶回り

これからスタートする訳ですが

私が独立して挨拶に行った時に

それまで親しくしてた同業者の中には

明らかに態度が豹変した人たちがいましたね。

当時は良く分かりませんでしたが

今はその理由ははっきり分かります。

それは所詮人間はサルの仲間だって事です。

会社に勤めてた頃はその会社との力関係で低姿勢だった不動産屋ですが

社員が独立すれば今度は自分より下になりますので

見下すのです。

独立したばかりの時には社員もいないし

私もそうでしたが狭い事務所で電話だけしかありませんから

下に見られるのは当然かも知れませんね。

私は会社を起こして３４年になりますが

今になるとその器の狭い社長さんたちの末路もはっきり見させてもらいました。

悉く業績が伸びる事はありません

私の中で一番最悪な態度を取った社長さんは

当時4～5人の社員を抱えていましたが

私の顔を見ても知らんぷりで奥に行き

事務員さんにこう言っていました。

“忙しいから名刺を置いて帰るように言え”

と

衝立はありましたがしっかり聞こえましたからね

こんな人だったんだって驚きましたが

その方はその後借金を抱えて

不動産業界からは去って行きました。

それと真逆な人もいました。

私が挨拶に行くと

笑顔で出て聞きて

おめでとう

って言った後

今晩お祝いをしよう

と言って一席設けてくれました

有難くお誘いを受けると

そこには銀行マンが二人いて

私に紹介して

何とか支えて上げて

って言ってくれました。

翌日も私を会社に招いて

開業に関しての色んなアドバイスをしてくれました。

まぁ器の大きな人だと思いましたね。

具体的には言いませんが

その後地域で一番の会社になり今でも伸び続けています。

同じクラブのメンバーでもありますので

ご一緒するたびにその時の恩を忘れない

とお伝えする訳ですが

本人は

そんな事あったけ？　覚えてないな

って返事が返ってきます。

不動産は大金の動く仕事ですから

どうしてもお金に目が行きますが

そのお金を生み出すのは人間関係です

にも関わらずお金だけ見て人を見ない

そんな人がたくさんいます。

そうなっては将来は暗いと思います。

そうならないためには

新しく開業した人を

ただサルの本能に任せて見下すのでは無く

いずれ利益をもたらしてくれる有難い人材

そう思って大きな態度で受け入れるべきでしょう。

人を見下す者は

この世界で生きるにはは致命的な欠陥

私はそう確信しています。

器の狭い人間は

できればこの世界では無く

他に活路を見出した方が良い

そう思っています。

There are many people who begin real estate business after worked as a employee at another real estate company

Real estate business make money by information

So it might easy to start business because they can start business without much money

When they start a business, you

go around to greet another real estate company with business card

its common practice

When I went to greet them after going independent,

some of them clearly changed their attitude.

I didn't understand it at the time,

 but now I understand the reason clearly.

It's because humans are, after all, monkeys.

When I worked for a company, real estate agents were humble because of the power relationship with the company,

but when an employee goes independent,

their position is lowest

so they look down on them.

When you first go independent, you don't have any employees,

and like me, you have a small office with only a phone,

so it's only natural that you're looked down on.

I've been running a company for 34 years, and now I've clearly seen the fate of those narrow-minded presidents.

There was no growth in business performance at all.

The president who had the worst attitude in my life

had 4-5 employees at the time,

but when he saw me

he ignored me and went to the back and told the office staff.

“I’m busy, so tell him to leave their business cards and go home.”

There was a partition, but I could hear him clearly.

I was surprised that he was like that,

but after that he got into debt and left the real estate industry.

There was also someone who was the complete opposite.

When I went to greet him,

he came out with a smile,

said congratulations,

and set up a party for me to celebrate that evening.

I gratefully accepted the invitation,

and there were two bankers there,

who introduced me to them and said they would support me in any way they could.

The next day he invited me to his company and gave me various advice about starting a business.

I thought he was a very generous person.

he became the best company in the area and is still growing today.

Since we are members of the same club,

 I tell him that I will never forget the kindness he showed me every time we are together,

but he always replies,

"Did that ever happen?" "I don't remember."

Real estate is a job that involves a lot of money,

so it's inevitable that we focus on the money,

but it's human relationships that generate that money.

 Despite this,

there are many people who only see the money and not the people.

If that happens,

I think the future will be bleak.

To avoid this,

we should not just look down on new business owners out of our monkey instincts,

but rather

think of them as valuable people who will bring us profits in the future and welcome them with an open attitude.

I am convinced that people who look down on others have a fatal flaw in living in this world. I think that small-minded people should find a way to make a living in another world, if possible.
