アパートが古くなると

入居者を退去させて建て替える

良く行われる事なんですが

入居者を立ち退かせる

なんて一口に言いますが

簡単ではありません。

入居者は借地借家法で守られていますから

家主が金銭的な補償を提示して立ち退いてもらう

これが普通に行われる事なんですが

金額を提示しても

中々引っ越さない人がいます。

まぁ拒まれれば無理に追い出す事もできませんからね。

そのまま放置って事になりますが

困るのは他の入居者が全員退去しても

一人だけ居残ると

家主からすれば

家賃は入らず建て替えもできずに大変困る事になります。

最近も当社でそんな案件があって

担当者は手こずっていました。

最後まで残ってるのは男性のお年寄りで

若い頃は結構恐い人でした。

家賃を滞納したり

他の入居者と喧嘩したりで

その都度担当者は駆け付けて行って

大変な思いをしてきました。

そして高齢になり

もう若い頃のような凶暴性は無くなり

生活保護を受けて暮らしていましたが

なんせ立ち退きと言っても

そんな人ですからね

移転先は中々見つからずに

一人だけずっと住んでる

そんな状態でした。

家主からすれば大変な損害ですが

諦めるしかありません。

ところが最近

この立ち退き問題が一気に解決しました。

アパートで突然亡くなったのです。

担当が嬉しそうに私に電話をかけて報告してきました。

もちろん家主も喜んでるそうです。

人は死ぬ時に

その人がどんな生き方をしてきたか?

垣間見る事があります。

孤独死で身内を呼んでも

誰も涙を流さず

遺体の引き取りも拒む

そんな人たちも少なくありません。

そもそも警察が連絡しても来ない身内もたくさんいるそうです。

まぁしかしそれはまだ良い方ですね

今回の入居者は

若い頃の傍若無人な生き方が災いして

身内はもちろんの事

付き合ってる友人知人もいませんから

完全な孤独死です。

それでも人間性に問題がなければ

私たち不動産屋は大家はせめて線香位は上げる

そんな感じですが

今回の方は

唯一の世間とのつながりである大家と不動産屋が

死んで大喜びする訳ですからね

いずれにしても

若い頃喧嘩が強くて威張り腐ってた生き方は

いずれツケを払う時が来ますよ

って話です。

歳を取れば

喧嘩が強いとか

顔が良いとか

頭が良いとか

スポーツが出来るとか

お金があるとか

そんな事は一切関係ない

ただただ元気で長く生きた者の勝ち

沖縄に住む私の姉が言ってた言葉ですが

本当にそう思いますね。

he no longer had the violent tendencies he had in his younger days,

and was living on welfare.

he couldn't find a new place to live,

and he continued to live alone.

It was a huge loss for the landlord, but we had no choice but to give up.

But recently, the eviction issue was resolved in one fell swoop.

He suddenly died in his apartment.

The person in charge called me with a happy look on his face

Of course, the landlord was happy too.

When people die,

we sometimes get a glimpse of how they lived their lives.

There are many people who die alone,

and even when their relatives are called,

no one cry and they refuse to take the body.

There are apparently many family members who don't even come when the police contact them.

But that's still a better case

The tenant this time died alone,

as a result of his reckless lifestyle in his younger days,

he has no family, friends, or acquaintances to associate with,

so he died completely alone.

Still, if there are no problems with their humanity,

we real estate agents would at least morn him

but in this case,

the landlord and real estate agent, who are their only connection to the world, are just rjoyed ahis death. I

in any case,

the story goes that

if you were good at fighting and lived a arrogant and selfish life when you were young, you will eventually have to pay the price.

When you get older,

it doesn't matter if you're good at fighting,

good-looking,

smart,

good at sports,

or have much money.

The winner is simply the one who is healthy and has lived the longest.

This is what my sister who lives in Okinawa used to say,

and I really think it's true.
