一昨日のことになるが、イスラエルのフットボールリーグ1部の ハポエル・ラマット・ガンFC（Hapoel Ramat Gan Giv'atayim F.C.：מועדון כדורגל הפועל רמת גן גבעתיים）と ハポエル・ブネイ・ロッドFC（Hapoel Bnei Lod Rakevet F.C.：הפועל בני לוד）の試合終了後、選手やコーチが乱闘騒ぎを起こしていた模様。

試合自体は、1-1 の引き分けに終わったのだが・・・。

↑の動画を転載した人のコメントによると、試合終了後ユニフォームを脱いだ Bnei Lod の Yakir Shina（יקיר שינה）選手（No.5）に対し Ramat Gan の選手が因縁をつけたのが乱闘騒ぎの始まり。
その後、両チームの選手やコーチなどが揉み合いになり殴る蹴るの乱闘劇に。
結局、4人がケガ、Bnei Lod の監督が一時警察に拘束されるというオチがついた・・・。
この乱闘騒ぎに対し、イスラエルフットボール協会（Israel Football Association：IFA）は翌日（2012年4月21日）に予定されていた（フットボールリーグ1部と2部）全試合の中止を決めた。

観客にしてみたら、例の乱闘騒ぎのせいでフットボールの試合を観にきたはずがショボいプロレスの試合を見せられたようなもんだからな～（なんか違う）。
とにかく、監督まで一時拘束されるレベルの乱闘騒ぎを起こした両チームの選手とコーチの方々は、試合を観ていた観客の人達＋ファンの人達に謝るべき。
いや、本当の話。
ただ、今回乱闘騒ぎを起こした選手やコーチの方々だけを非難して終わりで済ましてはいけない模様。
実は、今月1日の マッカビ・ペタティクヴァ（Maccabi Petah Tikva：מכבי פתח תקווה）と ハポエル・ハイファFC（Hapoel Haifa F.C.：מועדון הכדורגל הפועל חיפה）の試合後、選手やコーチ＋観客による乱闘騒ぎが起きて Peta Tikva 所属の Ali Khatib 選手が歯と顎の骨を折られてしまうなんて事態も・・・。

In TV footage of the incident, Hapoel Haifa’s Ali Khatib is clearly seen as throwing a punch at Maccabi’s Danny Preda before being head butted by Petah Tikva goalkeeping coach Ami Genish and allegedly being kicked while on the ground by Yigal Maman, who acted as a steward in the match and is a Petah Tikva fan close to the club’s ownership.
Both Petah Tikva and Haifa were fined NIS 25,000.
Khatib and Stefan Denkovic from Haifa and Petah Tikva’s Preda were all suspended for three matches for their roles, while Haifa’s Gal Arel was handed a two-match ban.
Genish, who together with Maman is set to stand trial in a criminal court for assaulting Khatib, was suspended from all sport activity for 18 months.
