French bread (cheap and salty?)
1) I was happy to eat French bread for 105 yen each at Wants (bargain pharmacy). But good and cheap doesn't go along.
On the second day, the tongue says "salty".
More salt is not good for elder people and dogs .
2) I thought Andersen would be fine, so I went.
A clerk asked me 'baguette' or 'batard'
(Both are the same, 326 yen each, but have to pay 356 yen with consumption tax.)
3)I'm embarrassed,as I don't know the names,but asked
"Is there any difference?"
The answer is" it's the same quality and the same weight , but the shap is different.
The baguette is long and slender and you eat the skin. Buttar has a lot of soft insides.
As expected of Andersen, she explains me so as not to embarrass the customer.
4) But now, even if I remember the names of French bread's lean and fat.
There are no place to use it and no person to talk except my wife.
