Mary took care of Tom so hard day after day. After a month, Tom

recovered. But he isn't in good condition.

When Tom met mary, he apologized his attitude.

"Sorry Mary, I bacame bad boy again,"

"Don't say such a thing."

"Do you love me still now Mary?"

"Of course Tom."

Tom creid. Mary hugged him softly.

"Mary, you are the real American lady."

Tom said to Mary.

メアリーは来る日も来る日もトムの看病を続けた。一ヶ月後彼は回復したが本調子ではない。トムはメアリーに自分の態度を詫びた。

「ごめんね、メアリー。ぼくはまた腕白な男になってしまった」

「そんな事言わないで、トム」

「今でもぼくを愛しているかいメアリー」

「もちろんトム」

　この言葉にトムは泣いた。メアリーは優しくトムを抱きしめる。

「メアリーは本当のアメリカのレイディーだ」

　トムはメアリーに言った。
