Ukraine's Misinterpretation of the Cold War Dynamics Between the West and Russia

The West Supports but Doesn't Wage War, That's the Essence of "Freedom and Democracy" – A Contrast to Russia's Ability to Start Wars at Putin's Discretion; Ukraine Should Have Known Before Joining the Western Side.

Japan's media's infatuation with America is extraordinary.

In the past, Japanese media used to adore Russia and despise America, but somehow they underwent a complete reversal.

Or perhaps the media simply loves to stir up war all the time.

Influenced by such media manipulation, the Japanese government and many citizens have become fervently anti-Russia and passionately supportive of Ukraine for the sake of America.

Anyone who doesn't criticize Russia risks being labeled as unpatriotic.

Ukrainian President Zelensky believed he had successfully aligned Japan, the United States, and Europe as allies.

However, in reality, Ukraine has merely become mercenaries for NATO, including the United States.

Ukraine might be nothing more than a pawn for NATO.

Unlike Russia's authoritarian regime, every NATO country, being proponents of "freedom and democracy," provides support but refrains from engaging in warfare.

These countries prioritize "the interests of the people" over "national prestige," as one would expect.

For Ukraine, a former Soviet state, receiving support that doesn't actually help from these "freedom and democracy" nations was unexpected.

Nevertheless, that's the essence of "freedom and democracy," and there's no way around it.

It differentiates from Russia, where President Putin unilaterally starts wars.

Before joining the Western countries, Ukraine should have been aware of these realities.
