Hatsumono

I saw a watermelon at the supermarket yesterday. It was April 1st, but it wasn't April Fool's Day. 33 years ago, my father, who was near death, asked me to buy a winter watermelon at a specialty store, but nowadays, watermelons can be seen in April. I hesitated a little, but I decided to offer it to Buddha and bought it. It's the first of the season.
