Buddha’s real name was Gautama Siddhãrtha.
In BC463, he was born in Shakya people’s land named Kapilavastu where was near the border between India and Nepal as a legitimate child between King Suddhodana and Queen Mãyã. Kapilavastu was a little more large area than Hukuoka prefecture and was extremely fertile land in addition to fresh greenery. King Suddhodana asked eight persons of fortune-teller to divine his child’s fortune. One of them was Kãņņdinya. At that time he was sixteen years old.

King asked him.
‘Can he grow up?’
Kãņņdinya said.
‘Your baby will grow up well and be to attain enlightenment.’
At that time, Kapilavastu was well known to the land where called a birthplace of Kapila legendary wizard, and Brahmanism had been national religion.
