サスティナブルと云う表現は使わない事を謳い文句に為されておりますVeja!
フランス人は、環境問題に対してかなり前向きな姿勢を持っておりまして、
（やや行き過ぎな動物愛護団体などもございますように）
Vejaの場合は、数値で環境問題を表現しているそうです。
サスティナブルと謳う会社は最近流行りのように多いのですが、数値で表現しなくては
其の会社の取り組み姿勢は判らないというのがVejaなんですね。
確かに！と僕も感動しました。
流行りに乗っかって全てをひとくくりにされるのはおかしいとの判断なのでしょうね。
フランス人らしいですよね。
其のおかげなのでしょうか、パリの有名セレクトショップなどには必ずと言っていいほど、
Vejaは並んでおりますしね。
環境問題への姿勢のみならず
Veja's slogan is that they don't use the word "sustainable"!
The French have a very positive attitude towards environmental issues,
(just like some animal rights groups that go a little too far),
and in the case of Veja, they express environmental issues in numbers.
It seems like a trend for a lot of companies to call themselves sustainable these days, but Veja believes that you can't really understand a company's approach unless they express it in numbers.
I was really impressed!
They probably think it's wrong to just follow the trend and lump everything together.
That's very French, isn't it?
Maybe that's why Veja is always lined up in famous select shops in Paris.
Not only for their attitude towards environmental issues,

作られました皮革になります。
vejaの場合は、鞣しに用いました水もリサイクルして再度使用するといった取り組みも行っております。

As is typical of VEJA, this leather is made using a simple tanning process called chrome-free leather, which minimizes the use of chemicals and water.
In the case of VEJA, we are also working to recycle and reuse the water used in tanning.

踵部分のスウェードもアッパーと同じ工程で鞣されましたスウェードに撥水性のあるオイルでコーティングしております。
The suede on the heel is tanned using the same process as the upper and is coated with water-repellent oil.
こちらのアウトソールは54％のバイベース素材とリサイクル素材で作られております。
ライニングは、ペットボトルをリサイクルしました再生ポリエステルで作られております。
The outsole is made from 54% bibase and recycled materials.
The lining is made from recycled polyester made from PET bottles.
Vロゴがアクセントになっておりますサイドビューになります。
