Citizens And The Public Welfare Services 4

2017-08-11 | 日記
Thirdly, I try to think about the public welfare.
Generally, when people exert the human rights, they have to put the priority on the public welfare.
It can be briefly defined that people have to avoid annoying other people.

But, can we easily imagine unseen people?
We can be mostly going to consider other's rights around there, in the same class, in the same section, or in the same neighborhood.
Whereas, we are willing not to think about unseen people who have been giving undirect benefits us.
Then, we should remember that monetary systems are supposed to make the real money and real people unbalanced in currency.
It is difficult for people to image remote others.
Furthermore, it will be hardly realized that money which makes the one happy is definitely making another unhappy at the same time.

To think about the public welfare means that we never neglect other people who were accidentally put on the disadvantage in the whole of the modern society.

In Japan, natural disaster frequently happened these days.
In particular, the huge earthquake on March 11th 2011, caused rural people the explosion of the nuclar plant in Fukushima area.
After the disaster, we have avoided buying the products from the area, except for sometimes recalling it as an anniversary.
The modern citizens are showing their opinion which is anti-nuclar energy, I agree with it. But I wish the government to offer to rebuild farming in the area.
Consumers will have rejected the products from such areas, but farming should be continued even in an tentative cases.
This is because the soil need to be cared for sustainable farming in the future.

Citizens can get knowledge of this, but they are little interested in workers of the primary industries.
They want to eat safe foods, but they believe that they can buy safe foods with watching TV commercial.

I here show one of the instances how farmers in rural area had struggled with farming.
Schistosomiasis is one of the infamous illnesses around the world.
Japan is the only country which had already exterminated it.

In Japan, farmers in rural villages had extremely suffered from the illnesses for ages.
Although the illness disappeared, we should not forget that a female farmer had devoted her body in order to progress the investigation about it.
I think that the public welfare means one can't help supporting others with not making matters in the context.

Citizens have believed that manual laborers are inferior and ignorant people.
And they have assumed that such people can't think about the society, still now.
But, one hundred years ago, it is the fact that there were citizens among female manual laborers in rural area.
Today, urban people are only willing to protect their status from being hurt.
Even if people engage in businesses as white collar workers, we can not state that all of them get aware of the public welfare.
When people pay their attention to others who are suffering from something, they can be citizens who have conscious of the public welfare.
If people who have their own prosperity are not willing to support even mates, I can't acknowledge them as citizens.
