my updates

just in case, hi, I'm a graduate student in Texas, USA.
I'm taking two research classes during summer and I'm a GTA for one undergraduate class. This is an updated version of brief introduction of me.
I'm going to Colorado in a few weeks. We'll drive about for ten hours and camp out. Then, we'll climb up the mountain. Five of us will climb a mountain called, Crestone Peak,which is the fourth highest mountain in Colorado. It'll be pretty amazing. This mountain is much higher than Mt. Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan.

I have a great respect to one of professors in my department. I got to know him quite well last year when I was taking his class in Graduate school...He has a lot of experience and knowledge. His attitude toward resarches was purely from his curiosity and desire to find thing out. Once he told me that, he didn't like to publish a paper by changing somebody's work just a little bit...But, my advisor told us that this is what he's going to do to publish papers. I laughed when he mentioned that in our meeting b/c it was exactly opposite to what my respecting professo would say. man, I wish he was still here...

I'm back!

Oh, well. It's been a while to be back here.
The year of 2006 and school have started! I enjoy learning cause it's such a wonderful opportunity for me to think thoroughly to understand concepts and apply whaever I learned. It's GOOD STUFF!
I noticed that I can check the number of access to this site. I was surprised to see the number of people who have randomly visited my site.^^ I normally write a diary for myself cause it's kinda fun to look back what I did sometimes later. But, you'll be welcomed to leave any comments.

Important History

I'm auditing C programming class in computer science engineering department during summer just to brush up my knowledge and understand it better. I have an exam coming up for that class. I'd better study tonight.

Today, I went to the library and found a cool book, "Aerodynamics" by Theodore Von Karman who made magnificent contributions to the aerospace engineering. "Karman Vortex Sheet" in any aerodynamics text books is named after him. This book that I found was a collection of his lecture series in Aerodynamics at Cornell university. This book was published in 1954. So, this is like a history book.

Bag Packing

When I came back to my apartment this evening, TV was on showing beautiful Rocky mountains in Canada. I immediately sat on a couch and watched that program. It was so beautiful: flowers, animals, of course rocky mountains covered by snow on the top. They're just spectacular. There is a place called "Seven Glaciers teahouse". It looked a very pleasant shelter for hikers. I really want to go there. There, all you can hear are a melody of bird's singing and a beat of your heart. At night, when you look over the sky, millions of stars will fill the entire black space wispering each other. It's an incredible view. I think that it's the best treasure that I can share with others.

Later tonight, a friend of mine brought his cat(male) to our apartment. His name is Burney(?). He's been very nervous at a new place with some strangers. I've already played with him. But, he is still not friendly to us...Two hours of plying is not enough.... I guesss....we'll build our trust each other in a few weeks.

Everything is gonna be allright

I finally finished debugging my code this evening. I was so happy that I started singing a song. I hate debugging. It's like...I'm stuck and can't go to anywhere, which makes me feel terrible. I always need to think about what's wrong with my code wherever I am, you know...

I also worked on the final design of shock tube. I decided pretty much every piece that is needed for it. I really wanna compare the experimental result with the gas dynamics theory.

今日も暑くて、気がめいりそうになった。朝、Diannという人から電話がかかってきて、寝起きの声で電話にでると、去年、働いていた分の給料が支払われてなく、近いうちにそれを送ってくれるとのこと。イェイ！こういった、Morning　CallならいつでもOk。たまに、たちの悪いのは、走って受話器をとりに行ったのに、Helloと言って、数秒してから録音されたメッセージが．．．．

Sunny Day

今日は朝から、学校へ出かける。学校へ行くのは、朝が一番！まだそれほど暑くなってないんで。それでも困るのが、お昼。いつも空腹で、しかたなく、キャンパスにある、品揃えの悪く、Pricyな小さな店（高校の時の校売のほうが、よっぽどまし）へ出かけて、スナックですませる。

本当に、最近の午後の予定が単調になりすぎてきているので、ここらで少しペースを上げて、頼まれていることをさっさと終わらせたい気分。コンピュータとずっと向き合ってるのも、目が疲れてちょっときついなと思う今日この頃。衝撃波管の方も早く完成させたい。ここ２，３週間で、できるといいんだけど．．．物作りは得意分野かな。

I went to school in the morning. It is a good time of the day to be outside since it's still quite cool. Whenever I go to school in the morning, I end up having a snack(junk food) for lunch from the market in the University Center.

When I came home, I wached "Patch Adam" on TV. It's a movie about a medical student. I liked it a lot. When you see a movie, he will tell you what it is supposed to be like to be a doctor and treat patients. I guess he is a man of passion and affection.

A friend of mine will bring his cat tomorrow or the day after tomorrow because he needs to leave here for three weeks. So, we will take care of his little cat. I've never kept a cat at home. I'm so excited about it.

MSN messenger7

Cool, I just downloaded the new version of MSN messenger. I'm surprised to see how much I can do with this.

I just posted a photo I had on my computer right now. We took this last year when we(school) had a visitor (post doc with glasses) from Shingapore. Actually, he came back here again recently. But, he is going back tomorrow. His motto is to enjoy whatever he does. He is really humorous.

Yay, I'm here. hahaha I'm here.
It's Sunday, the last day of a weekend, which makes me sad. But, for me, everyday is like a weekend. So, it doesn't really matter. hahahaha
Yoa'll have a good weekend.(Probably, it doesn't apply to those who live in East Asian countries because it's already Monday there by this time. Anyway, enjoy it!!)

It's been a while

I have written anything here for long time. w I've been lazy, I guess...I've been doing well. It's getting boring to stay in the same place for four years. I want to move!! I really wanna move to the other place, other than Texas. Texas is very hot. I preffer being in the brizard, which I've never experienced before. Anyway, let me move!!!!!!!!

All right then, I'd better work on it. Nice to have myself back here.
