Praise God!
Thank you all for your constant prayers and support for the relief work of the Higashi Matsushima Amazing Grace Support Center and for the healing and salvation of souls in the disaster area.
Thursday the 12th. Even though there was hard rain all through the morning a great number of disaster victims came to the support center to receive relief items and to drink tea and chat with the staff members asking various questions about the Bible. Also, a Japanese calligraphy teacher recently gave the center an elegant scroll of the "God is love" scripture and I was able to display it for everyone that visited.
Monday (the 9th) of this week Alex, a college student from America, began teaching the intensive English conversation class at the center. We were already holding the "Amazing Kid's Brown" English classes on Mondays and so now the center has turned into a children's and adult English school.
Even though we have just started the classes we are having a great response with various people registering and having an enjoyable time studying English.
These two classes don't end simply with teaching English but are also great opportunities for the staff to be encouraged to evangelize through prayers, worship, testimonies and reading from the Word. Please pray that through these English classes people will be saved and that the 2 ministers that are doing the work will be anointed.
