師走に入りましたね。何かと忙しいこの季節の味方、私の気に入りの
インスタント食品をご紹介します。

フィレンツェでインスタント食品といえば、写真のものをよく買います。
「袋（袋物）」という意味の「busteブステ」とも呼ばれます。意外と
本格的な味に仕上がるので、へたに外食するより美味しいような気が（笑）。

日本はインスタント食品がすごく充実していて、和食はもちろん、あらゆる
国の料理が手に入りますが、フィレンツェでこのブステを買うと（当然かも
しれませんが）イタリア料理オンリーです。パスタやリゾット、スープ、
ポレンタ（トウモロコシ粉で作ったおかゆのようなもの）、などなどですね。

「クノール」は世界的に有名な銘柄ですが、大手のスーパーも自社ブランドを
出していて、これが美味しいんです（上の写真。１枚目はエッセ・ルンガ、
２枚目はコープのもの）。

３枚目の写真は、「豆とパスタのスープ（パスタ・エ・ファジョッリ）」です。
水を入れて煮るだけですが、案外２０分くらいかかります・・・。インスタント
食品ながら、さすがスローフードの国、などと思ってしまいます（笑）。

いただく時にはエクストラ・バージン・オイルと黒コショウをかけると美味しいです。

　　



It's December, almost the end of the year. Let me introduce convenience
foods, which are helpful when you are busy like now.

I choose instant foods like in the above pictures in Florence.
Instant foods are also called "buste", which means "bags" in Italian.
These convenience foods taste very good and I guess...sometimes taste
better than those of restaurants.

In Japan, you can find various kinds of instant or microwave foods,
can't you? Japanese foods (needless to say), western dishes, ethnics,
everything is available. However in Florence, naturally, these "buste"
are only Italian foods, such as pasta, risotto, soup, and polenta (cornmeal), etc.

You may first remember "Knorr", which is one of the world-famous food
brands, but major supermarkets are producing their own brands and
these are also very good (The first two pictures: One is by ESSELUNGA,
another is by COOP).

The third picture is of "Pasta e Fagiolli (pasta and beans soup)".
You can simply make it only by putting the portion into cold water and
stir, but it takes about 20 minutes...I thought it was very much like
Italy, a country of Slow Food :-P

It tastes better if you serve them with some extra virgin oil and
black peppers.
