怪我の翌日

　



　腫れもひき、痛みもなくだいぶ良くなりました。昨日は帰りの運転中に、バンドエイドからもれた血が流れてきて困りました。
対角線上に飛んできた後肢ですからたいしたことなかったのでしょう。それにしてももう5センチ顔を後ろにしていればこのようなケガは防げたはずです。
不覚としかいいようがありません。
この分だと2　３日でめだたなくなりそうです。
これから注意します。

The weather has been warm even though it is November.That's why some flies are still around horses.They suck the blood of the horse by attaching themselves to the body of the horse.
This morning, I went to the stables.I was leaning forward and gently brushing one of Charle's hooves.
While I was brushing the left hind leg's hoof,
Charle lifted his right hind leg in an attempt to remove a fly that has attached itself to the right side of his belly. Unfortunately instead of hitting the fly, he hit my face accidentally.
I felt excruciating pain and I had to cover my face with my hands. I was bleeding profusely from a cut in the outer corner of eye.

The stable staff ran up and quickly gave me first aid treatment. It was not a serious cut but my right eye was bruised and swollen.
It wasn't Charle's fault. I just happened to be at the wrong place when he wanted to get rid of that irritating fly.
For now, I have to walk around the house with bruised and swollen eye which I hope will get better before an event I had to attend next week.
