I am explaining how I sew a kimono. 絽の地の目通し
着物は地の目を通して縫い合わせるのが基本です。
特に大島などの絣や絽などは地の目が曲がると目立つので、より注意して縫い合わせます。
今回縫っているのは五本絽の小紋です。
絽は横糸の地の目が目立つので、縫い合わせるときには横糸のスリットのところを重ねて透かしを頼りに縫います。
