On Feb 17, the 4th “New Management Strategy Seminar” sponsoring by Nagano Shinyo Bank was held, and 31 managers and executives of participating companies visited our company.
“New Management Strategy Seminar” is the development type of training seminar which was held last year, and the contents of the seminar were modified to a program which is more specific and directly connect to business. To study management systematically, practical work and group discussion were mainly held in this course. This time’s company visit was aimed to visit the plants and the fields of the excellent enterprise of the Hokushin region, study their original ideas and approaches, and make use of their management knowhow to one’s company by studying from cross-industrials.

Our president, Hideyuki Kasuga, gave a speech titled “Required management reforms of SME in 2010, and the management policy of Nihonkizai”. After the speech, the audience visited our plant. We obtained feedbacks such as “We felt a directionality of new development in cooperation with local businesses”, “We felt that there Nihonkizai has a possibility to become a research and development type company”, “We were impressed by the greeting and the consideration of the employee of Nihonkizai”, “The work place and the plant was organized completely”. In this continuing severe business environment since the Lehman shock, we will be grateful if we could contribute to the goal of this seminar; “To make use of the management knowhow learned from the cross-industrials to one’s company”.
