前回の記事からあまりにも時間がたってしまいました…
子供の幼稚園の行事などで忙しくバタバタと過ごしてました。
ガーデニングには一番いい季節を今年は逃してしまった感じですが、4月に咲いたチューリップ、Shirleyの写真をアップしておこうと思います。
It's already June!
I had been busy with several events in my son's kindergarten and that is my excuse for not updating this blog in so long.
Anyway, I put photos of tulip 'Shirley' in my garden taken in April.
水戸はさくらが満開です。
桜山と旧県庁のお堀のさくらを見てきました。
あと近所の今の県庁のさくらも見事です。この時期は外歩くと幸せな気分になりますね。
花見の準備もばっちりなようです。
Cherry blossom trees in Mito are in full bloom now! I'm so happy to drive through gorgeous scenery of the cherry trees around the prefectural gevernment office in my neighborhood.
And I enjoyed walking around viewing the cherry trees around Kairaku-en and Ken Sannomaru cho-sya(former prefectural government office) yesterday.
It's ready for hanami-parties.
ABC Cookingでならったクリームニョッキを作ってみました。
ニョッキとは、じゃがいも入りのもっちりパスタ。今回は、春らしくそらまめとしめじをクリームチーズソースでいただきました。
けっこう思ったよりも簡単かも。今度は、かぼちゃのニョッキを作ってみようかな。
I tried gnocchi with cream cheese sauce which I learned from ABC Cooking Studio.
My fluffy gnocchi was made from potato and flour and grated cheese. I put it with some sow beans, peas and mushroom slices in cream cheese sauce.
Making gnocchi was easier than I thought it would be. And I want to make it again using pumpkin instead of potato.

I found some sprouts coming up in my new flower bed, grape hyacinth, tulip and iceberg rose.
あっという間に3月になってしまいました。
2月には、息子の4歳の誕生日がありました。家族の誕生日には、必ず自分でケーキを作ろうと決心をし、ショートケーキを焼きました。息子と一緒にデコレーションをしました〜。こどもと菓子作りをするのは楽しいものです。
2月には雪が降り、ここ水戸でもかなり積りましたね〜。

Well, February is the birthday month of my son and he became four years old. Since I want to make birthday cakes for my family every year, I baked the short cake again. My son and I decorated it with fresh cream and strawberries. Cooking with your kid is pretty fun.
And there were snow in Mito last month.
