My cheek is swelling

2012年01月21日 18時05分35秒 | つぶやき

I got my left wisdom teeth taken out 2days ago. It was really tough time for me. The hospital has a good doctor of dental surgery and many neighbors get wisdom teeth taken out at the hospital, and my mother as well. So I had believed that she must be in charge of my surgery. When I got a diagnosis, I saw her and she explained about the surgery and fear of some after effects. But I was told another doctor from other hospital would be in charge of my surgery. You know, young doctors from university hospital often come to the other ones for training. I was very worried because my lower wisdom tooth is impacted sideways in the gum and I remembered that it had taken a veery long time to make right lower wisdom tooth take out over 10 years ago. I wonder if a young doctor can make such an awful surgery…

As I had thought it took about one hour and a half even though it took only 2 or 3 minutes for upper wisdom tooth. I had some additional injections of anesthetic as it almost wore off during the surgery. The young doctor said many times “Your bones are very tough…” with sigh. I was exhausted when I came out the room, and my shoulders were stiff from strain.

Since then, my left cheek has been swelling with fever and I feel pain. I don’t know the doctor was good or bad, but anyway, I hope I get well as soon as possible!

Other's Sense of Taste

2012年01月09日 14時43分28秒 | つぶやき

Last week, I watched a TV program in which 2 MC s (master of ceremonies) was visiting at a very famous old singer with yellow semi long hair. He served his favorite ready-made curry to them and they were commenting “Oh, it’s so delicious! Is this really instant?” something like that. What’s more, since the instant curry was made by a famous Japanese cook, I got interested in it and I went to a nearby super market a few days later, bought it, and had it with much expectation.

But such my expectation was smashed up the moment I had a bite. I wonder if they really thought this is good… I wonder if they are living in Kanto area and they love such a plain, depthless flavor… The cook used to use very amount of shaved bonito called ‘the soup of life’ in a cook competition TV program, but I don’t think the soup of bonito is used for this product in spite of Japanese style curry.

It was so bad that I had to add soy sauce, Worcester shire sauce, and the 7 flavor chili peppers with Yuzu. I really thought other’s sense of taste can’t be relied on at all.

TV was set up on PC but

2011年12月27日 15時03分51秒 | つぶやき

As I mentioned last time, I set up on my new PC . It was quite easy to set up coz I just connected a wall outlet and the PC with an antenna cable.  The pictures of TV system is very clear and beautiful.  I used to watch TV with One Seg, and the pictures were not so clear, what's more it was hard  to control the indoor antenna to catch weak signal, So I'm very glad to watch beautiful pictures. But,,, now new year is just around the corner and there aren't any programs I want to watch at this time of the year. Every channel has many of junk special programs and now I have no chance to use this TV system on PC actually. It's really a pity...

New PC

Well,,, I bought a new PC AT LAST!! My ex-PC had windows XP, and new one windows 7. So now I'm feeling it's a quite complicated system to handle. Maybe I'd get used to it while I continue to use it.

I'm going to get an antenna cable tomorrow and set up TV system on PC.

Made a mess of pictures

2011年09月03日 14時06分03秒 | つぶやき

Well,,, actually I had a trip for Italy about 3 months ago.   After coming back to JP, I was going to put the pics of Italy here,,, but I can't... What's more, I haven't finished yet to put the pics on an album. It is quite slow pace, isn't it? I'm completely not keen to do it coz I made a mess of the pictures...

I visited some small towns with a compact cam this time coz they were located at quite hight places and my favorite single-lens reflex cam was too heavy to climb to them. I hadn't had any compact cams and I bought a new one for the trip. Now I think I wasn't used to compact cams at all. I didn't realize the lens got dirty by my finger oil and all pics I took become blurry.  I was really disappointed at my carelessness and think it's waste of time to put those messy pics on the album and on the other hand, think I should do it for just memories.

Anyway, this happening was a good lesson. I'll never put a mat protect film on the cam screen even if it's hard to see images in sunlight coz I couldn't realize the blurs because of it this time. I'll choose clear one from now on!!!

Snow

2011年02月13日 14時07分09秒 | Diary
It was snowing when I got up last Fri. Snow that usually falls in this area is powder snow, but this time, it was much wetter and heavy one. It was quite cold with damp day. Even though snow has already gone, it's not good weather this 3-day weekend.

This Reminds Me

2011年02月05日 16時14分51秒 | つぶやき
I dropped by LAWSON today & found this chocolate by TIROL CHOCO. This kind is new one to me & I checked it on TIROL WEB SITE, but it wasn't introduced there. This might be quite new kind.
I ate this anyway, and the taste reminded me a kind of chocolates I had bought in Belgium several years ago. As you know, Belgium is famous for chocolates & I remember that I was very glad to buy them there at that time. And today I found this cheap one have completely same flavor.
I'm wondering if I didn't have to happily bring back the expensive sweets from Belgium...
TIROL CHOCO San, GOOD WORK!!

Pepo?

2011年02月04日 11時19分23秒 | Diary

Do you know this plant? It's called 'Okinawa-karasu-uri (沖縄カラスウリ)'. You know this is from Okinawa prefecture from its name.

It's getting quite harsh summer in recent years and my mother planted this last summer to seek plants that could survive in such an awful heat.

The red fruits are the ones that have gotten ripe. Cute, isn't it?
