the spring paper-door,
the crest of the Hojos
is embossed

成就院玻璃戸（はりど）の空にとんびの環
in the sky
on glassed doors of Jojuin temple,
a circle of a kite

「星月の井戸」の厚蓋春の坂
the thick lid
over 'Well of Stars and the Moon',
that slope in spring


名物力餅
力餅買ふ列にゐる春の昼
I'm in the line
to buy Chikara-mochi ricecake,
one spring daytime...
