(bubble-machine による) 立体作品。動くというより、蠢く立体。

なのか、フィリピンが生んだ早熟の天才アーティストなのか。
インタビューはさすがに興味深い。

動かないと面白くないのだが、動いてもしれている。60年代ははるか昔ということになってしまった。しかしこういう単純なテクノロジーから出発したのだということ。テクノロジーのぶっちぎりレース。テクノロジーは進化しつつもBusinessと結びついて日常化しArtは、どうなんだろう？Artの夜明けは置き去りにされてきた。子供から大人になり、楽しいのはひたすら子供時代？えっ、何のこと？
“contemporary”, “experimental” and “objective”などという古語に、いまだに過度に反応してしまう自分がいる。

Natalie Clifford Barneyを調べようとParisの1920年代
を調査していたら、画家の母親に出会った。
この母親にしてこの娘あり、という言葉を思い出した。
私の持つLuciferのイメージにピッタリだったのでこの作品を選んだ。

Spanish artist Salvador Dali was a groundbreaking icon of the Surrealist movement and one of the greatest artists of the 20th century. Salvador dali work probed the unconscious world of thoughts, dreams and perception in fanciful and nightmarish images influenced by Freud, Cubism, Futurism and metaphysical art. Extraordinarily imaginative, Salvador dali also sculpted, and contributed to fashion, photography and theater.
Salvador dali was born on May 11, 1904, at 8:45 a.m. GMT in the town of Figueres, in the Empordà region, close to the French border in Catalonia, Spain. Dalí's older brother, also named Salvador (born October 12, 1901), had died of gastroenteritis nine months earlier, on August 1, 1903. His father, Salvador Dalí i Cusí, was a middle-class lawyer and notary whose strict disciplinary approach was tempered by his wife, Felipa Domenech Ferrés, who encouraged her son's artistic endeavors. When he was five, Dalí was taken to his brother's grave and told by his parents that he was his brother's reincarnation, a concept which he came to believe.

ある評論家に最低のArtistと評されてたTracey Emin。確かに。上の作品のタイトルは、Everyone I Have Ever Slept With 1963?1995 by Tracey Emin (1995)。上が外側、下が内側の写真である。32年の間に「寝た」人たちの名前が、テントの内側にアップリケされている。勿論、性的にとは限らず、一緒にネンネしてくれた、おばあちゃんの名前もあるらしい。100名を超える人名が並べられている。おばあちゃんは一種の逃げ道か、とも思える。全部が性的関係ならば、あまりにも身も蓋も無い。最低とは思うがConceptは理解できる。私がこの人の紹介にかなりの躊躇を覚えたのは、作品自体にではなく、話す時のその表情だ。しかし（旧？）大英帝国が認めたArtistである。（旧？）大英帝国のArt事情もそこに読み取れる筈だ。踏ん切りをつけて掲載することにした。なをこの作品は後に火災で焼失した。
