Ryoichi Hattori (1907-1993) was a composer of the Japanese pop music and was a person of superior arrangement.
He performed advanced orchestration from the dawn of jazz in Japan or the dance music.
He was able to handle original music constructed by a Japanese-style musical scale by jazz arrangement skillfully.
His arrangement applied sound of Casa Loma and Duke Ellington in addition to orchestration taught by Emmanuel Leonievich Metter skillfully.
Those works group expresses talent as the people of his arrangement best.

The Columbia jazz band organized in Japan at the time of 1936 by a first-class musician proves that his score was superior.
