大阪市中央区の御堂筋で歩行者の間をすり抜けて走る自転車
大阪市が昨秋、メーンストリート・御堂筋（国道２５号）で歩行者との接触事故を防ごうと、自転車利用者に歩道を押して歩くよう呼びかけた社会実験で、自転車を降りた人は１００人あたり６人にとどまったことがわかった。
自転車専用レーン設置の是非を巡って歩行者と自転車の共存を試みたものの、マナー頼みの限界を露呈した格好だ。
自転車による歩行者との接触事故は年々増え、大阪府内では２０１０年には２３３件と１０年前の５倍近くに上った。
これを背景に、御堂筋では車道の側道部分について自転車専用レーン化を求める声が地元で出ている。しかし、渋滞が多発する恐れがあり、市は自転車のマナー向上で問題解決が可能かを探るために社会実験を実施。昨年９月下旬から約１か月間、淀屋橋―難波西口間（３キロ）で職員らが啓発ビラ１０万枚を配り、自転車で走行中の人たちに押し歩きを求めた。
その結果、要請に応じたのは１６４９人中１０６人（６・４％）だけ。職員の前では降りても離れると再び乗る姿も目立ったという。

これ、全国で同じような調査をしてほしい。
県民性が出るのではないか。
東京でも地区によりかもしれない。
傘を差しながら、子供を自転車の全部に座らせながら、歩道をすごい勢いで突っ走っている女の人にぶつけられたこともある。
まあ、通常は、職員が啓発ビラを撒きながらというのだから、その時ぐらいは自転車から下りるのが普通だと思うが、畏るべし大阪人。
