辞書による用例として、
どういう意味かというと、釣りをしているアジア人の後ろに忍びより押して水の中に落とす遊びだそうだ。
で、事件はカナダ。名前からすると中国系なのか、とにかく泳ぎができないアジア人とその友人を湖に突き落とし、そこから車で逃げる途中も、車で追突され、木にぶつかって大けがを負った、と。
で、裁判で加害者は有罪になったが、刑が軽すぎるとして、被害者が興奮して、裁判所の窓を椅子で壊した。そのためにその被害者は逮捕された、と。

Arrests made over 'racist' attack
Police investigating a suspected racial attack on a teenage girl and her older sister in Edinburgh last December have arrested two people.
The 15-year-old girl her 27-year-old sister suffered broken teeth and injuries to their faces and heads.
The apparently unprovoked attack happened in the early hours of Sunday 13 December in Earl Grey Street.
An 18-year-old man and 19-year-old woman are due to appear at the city's sheriff court on Friday.

"Our problem with this is a government funded, taxpayer-funded quango telling people who they can and can't associate with, [which] is a fundamental outrage.

Emotions erupted in the Newmarket courthouse Friday as a Sutton man was sentenced to two years less a day in jail for a racist attack on Asian anglers, and one of the victims – upset at the light sentence – wound up handcuffed and arrested.
Justice Alfred Stong found that Trevor Middleton, 23, was motivated partly by racism when he and three truckloads of Georgina Township youths shoved Ruohang Liu, 24, and Charles Hogan, 24, into Lake Simcoe early in the morning of Sept. 16, 2007, in the type of attack some locals referred to as "Nip-" or "Nipper-tipping." One of their friends was left with permanent brain damage in the attack.

Liu was handcuffed and arrested by police after the armrest of a courthouse chair was thrown at a hallway window, shattering it.
