あの当時、ABCやらアルジャやらのでたらめ記事に翻弄されたね。
Japanese journalists were writing everything was okay, but the journalists were running away"...
当時の様々な記事に目を通していなかったとしか思えない。

はあああ？？？？？ ロシアトゥデイが聞いたら、わらいころげるよ。
The Japanese view was safe until proven dangerous"...
というわけでもない。批判的な人はいるわけだが、大抵の場合、安全だと、思われている。それが普通の国だろう。

これも一般化しすぎるな。これが正しいなら、アメリカのジャーナリストは、アメリカ帝国主義の先兵。日本などの他国に対するのと同一基準を使ってアメリカを批判するとつまはじきにもでされる、というのも正しかろう。

日本の記者はたしかにサラリーマン的なのだが多そうだが、ファクラー氏がアメリカ寄りであるより、日本人記者の方が日本に対して批判的ではないかな？
白人崇拝の一部日本人は、NYTの白人記者の偽善にだまされちゃいけない。
