中国テロ でっちあげ？

２９日付の米紙ニューヨーク・タイムズは、中国新疆ウイグル自治区カシュガルで８月４日に警察部隊が襲撃された事件について、別の警官による襲撃であって、ウイグル民族によるテロとしたのは中国当局のでっち上げだった可能性があると報じた。

　事件が発生した現場向かいにあるホテルに宿泊し事件を目撃した外国人観光客３人の証言として伝えた。観光客らが撮影した写真４枚も掲載した。

　同紙によると、４日午前８時ごろ、トラックが警察隊に突っ込み、直後に薄緑色の部隊の制服を着た複数の男が道路に倒れた隊員らを刃物で切りつけた。犯人は２人だったとみられるという。

　３人の証言は「１人あるいは２人の制服姿の男が切りつけた」点で一致。事件後、警官がホテルの各部屋を回り、宿泊客のカメラを調べたり、Ｅメールを送らなかったかなどを尋ねたりしたという。

　新華社によると、事件はウイグル民族の男２人がトラックで部隊に突っ込み、手製爆弾などで襲撃、警官１６人が死亡、１６人が負傷した。毎日

表面上はナチ党から距離をとっているものの、一皮むけば、アングラ・ナチがウジョウジョ群れをなしている、という人もいます。

大方の見解では、たしかに、反EU、反移民感情がこれらの政党の躍進に寄与したものの、むしろ、現政権に対する抗議として極右勢力が躍進した、という側面が強い、ということです。

こうした、分裂政権のもと、政治は混乱するだろう、という見通しです。


いくつか注目しておきたい点がある。

１）反移民の声に同調する声が大きかったこと。
たしかに、政治的建前からか、外国人の必要性を述べる人もいますが、経済が悪くなるなか、オーストリアのみならず、EU圏内でこうした声は大きくなるのではないか、というのが私見です。

２）報道面では、これだけの極右勢力の台頭にもかかわらず、対立政党にのいざこざに対する抗議の側面をちゃんと報道している。
　日本に関する報道では、自民党の親移民政策、類例の少ない、日本の植民地、および慰安婦に対する謝罪・補償にもかかわらず、歴史問題、ナショナリスト政治家のみが強調される。英語圏ジャーナリストに日本に関する報道のひな形があるか、のようである。かなり知能程度を疑う。

　（もっとも、NYTの麻生首相けんか腰のナショナリスト記事に対しては、今回は外務省が抗議している。首相、けんか腰」社説、ＮＹタイムズに外務省が反論（2008年9月29日）　また、shisakuさんもフランシスコ麻生の弁護、として、当該記事を批判している。）

３）現政権に対する抗議の選挙の後の政治の混乱に関しては、日本でも次期選挙で、ある程度同様なことが予想される。
　なんていうか、世界の政治図式がかわりつつあるような気もするが、その一方、そうした混乱にもかかわらず、日本は大丈夫じゃないかな、という根拠のない期待をいただいている。
