We had a wonderful day¡¡¸Þ·îÀ²¤ì. Rindo students enjoyed running outside. We have studied keigo to use for others. We will study keigo for ourselves next class. Rindo students were a bit struggle to say long keigo sentences. I believe ¡Èpractice makes perfect¡É.
Have a great long weekend.

We are now finalizing the performance script. In next class on 6/2, we will assign roles and practice them.
Related to the script, we learned some of honorific styles,
¤ª+¡Ê¤Þ¤¹form¡Ë+¤Ë¤Ê¤ë¡¢¤ª+¡Ê¤Þ¤¹form¡Ë+¤¯¤À¤µ¤¤ patterns.
As we learned, ºÂ¡Ê¤¹¤ï¡Ë¤ë and »î¡Ê¤¿¤á¡Ë¤¹ may be one of most frequently used verbs in this pattern.
We also reviewed there are some exceptions, like ¸«¤ë¡¢Ãå¤ë¡¢»à¤Ì.
Have a nice Memorial day weekend next week!

We only had 6 students today... spring sports season is at its peak! Everyone enjoyed each other's company both at Target and Homeroom class... always very nice to see students getting to know each other.
We covered these agendas:
1) Target class: my group practiced Dakuon and Han-dakuon. Although students generally knew Hiragana with dots (dakuon) and bubbles (han-dakuon), some words were hard to remember. We reviewed animal names, food names and plant names + others with han/dakuon and talked what they were.
We then looked at G1 Kanji chart and I showed them the very general rule of stroke order: left to right, top to bottom. Some students have written kanji in very unique stroke order, which I didn't quite mind at this point, but proper stroke order strategy might help them remember how to retain Kanji. We practiced/reviewed following Kanji today: ¾å¡¢²¼¡¢Æü¡¢·î¡¢²Ð¡¢¿å¡¢ÌÚ¡¢¶â¡¢ÅÚ¡¢±ê¡¢ÎÓ¡¢¿¹¡¢½÷¡¢´¯¡£It was hard to guess what three women meant, but once they learned the meaning (noisy), everyone said it made sense. (same for forest and big fire).
2) Outside recess and snack
3) Continued to work on introduction of City where family members live. It is interesting to see what captured students' mind when they visited the city or studied about the place.
See you on the 2nd! Have a wonderful Memorial day week.

For Gakugeikai, we reviewed/practiced the song ¤¹¤¦¤¸¤Î¤¦¤¿. It is getting familiar, but some parts are still not sure for some students. Another part of Gakugeikai performance is the song ¤¸¤å¤¦¤Ë¤ó¤Î¤³¤É¤â. We have learned how to count people¡¡¤Ò¤È¤ê¡¢¤Õ¤¿¤ê¡¢¤µ¤ó¤Ë¤ó...and have been singing this song. We practiced to line up in order, using the cards of numbers. We are going to keep working on these songs in coming classes, and make our performance great!
We've been working on ¤À¤¯¤ª¤ó¡¦¤Ï¤ó¤À¤¯¤ª¤ó. We had a comprehension quiz this week. It was a dictation quiz, and most of students showed good listening skill and understanding about those letters.
We learned the word ¤Æ¤¸¤Ê, the magic, and practiced to trick people by ¤¢¤ä¤È¤ê! It was a little confusing at the begining, but after they got it, students had fun and practiced it with partners.
At the end of the class, we had the guest teacher, Yayoi sensei. The lesson was about the Mothre's day and including new vocablary, a game, and writing. It was a lot of fun and Karakurenai students showed the great interest and participation. God job! Thank you very much, Yoyoi sensei!
